The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-seven percent (47%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -23.
That’s the highest level of Strong Disapproval and the lowest Approval Index daily rating yet recorded for this president.
…Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. This matches the lowest approval rating yet measured for President Obama. Fifty-seven percent (57%) now disapprove.
Good work, American people. Take the rest of the weekend off.

24%? I had no idea ACORN was that large of an organization. It could be that its a combination of ACORN, plus illegals who's cases are being reviewed but receiving Social Security and other handouts at tax payer expense. Obama and his pack of social extremist are is destroying this nation and placing all of us in a position we may never recover from.

We know, we know. But somehow things aren't working the way they were set up to work, the way that made this country unique and grand. Majority no longer rules and the logic and supreme authority of our Constitution is being bypassed.

Natsman -- A lot of the voting was based on race. Blacks voted for him because of his colour, some whites voted for him because of "white guilt" for past racial injustices, other whites voted for him for the novelty and to show how "open-minded" they were, some believed his mantra of "hope and change" ( little of which he specified), and others voted for him because the Republicans ran essentially a straw-man who was obviously not of Chief Executive caliber.
Now that the cards are being laid on the table we're seeing what sort of "change" he meant. As a nation we're at a critical juncture. Due to many factors, both past and present, we're going down the plug economically and socially. In the meantime Congress, at the Presidents instigation, continues to pass huge unfunded spending bills and "alternative morality" legislation. The latest figure I heard was a $44,000 tax liability for every US citizen to pay for the spending SO FAR.
The upcoming election on Nov. 2nd this year will be the pivotal point, determining whether we sink under the yoke of Socialism or start back on the return road to a Constitutional Republic. It will be a difficult fight as the rot runs deep and is wide-spread. There are but few allies in the Media. Most Media corporations/personalities have chosen to support the Socialist/Progressive/Liberal agenda, not having learned the lessons from history, from the fall of Rome to the fall of the USSR.
In addition, many of the US public have developed a "what will the government GIVE ME for free" mentality, so will vote for whomever promises to deliver the most at no cost to the recipient ( let someone else pay for it).
Our only political hope is to vote out ALL the Socialists / Progressives /Liberals of BOTH Parties in the upcoming elections, be they National, State or Local, and replace them with people who actually serve the Nation in accordance with the US Constitution, not rule it like an elite oligarchy. Following that, the removal of the Socialist-leaning President is a must. After that, to quote: "Eternal vigilence is the price of freedom".
