Let’s see. Fort Hood shooter, Muslim. Underpants bomber, Muslim. Times Square bomber, Muslim. Christmas bomber, Muslim. Hmmmm. Could there be some link between these guys that we’re overlooking?
Not if New York Congressman Peter King has anything to say about it. The new chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee says one of the first orders of business for the new Republican majority will be to investigate Muslim radicalization in the United States.
It’s about friggin’ time, isn’t it?
King spoke to Fox News on Sunday and said:
“Fact is, no one had a closer relationship to the Muslim community than I did before September 11. Since then I’ve been disappointed, though, by the number of their leaders who would not cooperate with law enforcement. There are actual cases in this country where imams direct their members not to cooperate with law enforcement on very serious investigations. And when you talk to law enforcement people around the country including this area here they will say they do not yet have the level of support that we need. Now, the overwhelming majority of Muslims are good people. But for whatever reason the people in their leadership are not cooperative and I believe it’s important to have this investigation on radicalization of the Muslim community. We’ve seen what happened in England. We know al Queda is trying to recruit people over here such as they did with the Subway Bomber here in New York last year. The attempted subway bombing, the Times Square bombing – these are all people living legally in the United States.”

I have some insight here. While you may laugh and poke fun at the gaffs the politically corrected make when they try to explain islamic radicalism and the reasons for islamic radicals, you need to bear in mind the long standing relationship between radilcal muslims and socialists...it pre-dates Hitler!
I believe Glenn Beck showed paperwork where people in Nazi germany would have prefered to have co-opted the Islamic religion instead of Christianity because Christianity in essence is "weak" whereas the Islamic religion has all the need for power that people like then would want to emulate.
Muslims sympathize with the goals of al Qaeda, the only thing we hear from the Muslim community after attacks are threats that there had better not be a backlash against them. Muslims don't take to the streets to condemn killings, they only take to the streets to demonstrate their power and willingness to do violence.
Ditto! Well said.
Yup. When they go to protest wearing a red-white shemach (head towel thing) I'd like to show up wearing something else that hides my identity for "peaceful" purposes.
This dude has the right idea....

Somehow I see a Fatwa coming that investigating them is somehow evil and stereotyping, etc.
Profile away, because the facts are so obvious, and in everyone's face as to WHO the real TERRORISTS are. Their religion embraces the horror and terror, so, yanno, you'd think we'd look at them first.
Well, pretty much every crap hole in the world, if you look deep enough, is caused by Muslims. For a peaceful religion, their people sure are a violent bunch.
