Preview: Rush Limbaugh guest stars on Family Guy this Sunday night

Family Guy is rude, crude, and generally hilarious. It’s the kind of show that makes you laugh out loud one minute and say, “Oh, my god. Did they really say that?” the next. And Sunday’s episode stars Rush Limbaugh.

Here’s a two-minute preview that includes an interview with Rush and series creator Seth McFarlane.

And by the way, who could disagree with the theory that Nancy Pelosi is a monster who’s addicted to crack?

  • Yeah...well they had to pull back because they were loosing viewers. It started (as far as I can tell) with the show where quagmire goes off on Brian. I woudln't say it's went back, but it is drifting towards that direction...

    Still don't like the new stuff. I watch occasionally but eh, mostly it's not worth my time. Generally it's on when I'm doing something else and waiting for another show to come on.

  • Family Guy USED to make fun of EVERYBODY pretty equally. But then it went liberal AND it barely touches Islam and its extremists wing. I dont buy that it is going back to where it was on the center of making fun of everyone equally at least not right now.

  • Family Guy used to be funny. Before it went off the air and came back on.Being a night owl, I watch Adult Swim many nights. (I love animation and wish they had more Anime on XD) Over the past couple of months AS has been airing FG episodes from the beginning. Watching it from the start reminds me of why I liked the show in the first place. It was a very funny show that used to not be very political. Something happened when it came back on, however... I guess the writing crew decided that shocking was more funny then actually writing funny material. The first episode aired after it was renewed (after what...2 or 3 years of being off the air?) is the one 'parodying' The Passion of The Christ. This, of course, showed the crew's disregard for any type of religion at all and started the ball rolling to what it has become now.The worst season was 2008/09. I guess the election really got their blood boiling because almost every cartoon was political or antireligious in some way, shape, or form. The show that made me stop watching was the one where Brian (The white dog for those of you that don't know) started to rant about how Meg (The daughter that is always called ugly) about how Christianity never solved anything. No jokes, no one liners. No Zingers... Just a long rant.I'm sure you can go on youtube and find it, if you are curious.It is kind of funny.... Because I remember seeing Seth McFarlane being interviewed back in the 90's. He was really humbled and overwhelmed that people liked his show. I don't know if that was a put on or if he's changed, but I'd guess the later. I Don't mind crude humor, but some of the stuff that has been on FG recently has dropped even below my taste level. (The Downs Syndrome girl episode for example.)I don't care if Rush is on it, I don't think anyone should watch the show. The show should be cancelled due to low ratings, but I doubt that will happen.It's an interesting contrast when you compare Futurama, another animated show that was canceled then renewed after many years, to Family Guy. Futurama is still funny, it still has the charm the show exhibited in earlier seasons. Not Family Guy. It lost any wit or charm it had eons ago.And yet they keep giving Seth the go ahead to make more cartoons. Go figure

    • Absolutey and aces to all of the above. Then there are the episodes where Brian eats Stewie's excrements... It was disgusting. I don't know it just became habit to watch it after a while and mostly just hoping that it would go back to where it was before. Now that he has a lot of money he has lost all humility and sense of perspective and his white rich man guilt took over.

      • OMgosh, I forgot about that episode! That one was so not funny...

        Ugh... I can't believe that made it to primetime. I actually read comments on that episode (Via hulu) where people liked it. I have no idea how someone could like that episode. NOt just for the eating of poo, but because it was in no way funny at all.

        • Yes it was disgusting I almost vomited it was so nasty. It took days for me to get over it and not gag at the thought of it and then yes the episode was meaningless and unfunny. There were no laughs. It was a waste of time and yes I have no idea how it got through to primetime. What happens in Fox Entertainment? I have no idea how can someone like that.

    • Yeah Buddy, I think the Southpark episode that ragged out Family Guy was spot on... You know the one where FG was going to do a joke about Moe-hah-mud, but Fox chickened out under pressure from libtard hate groups... and then the FG writers were exposed to be a tank full of manatees that randomly generated jokes... spot on satire by Stone & Parker.

      • i think its kinda sad that thought the whole episode SP was complimenting FG every time it insulted it, but the FG crew is STILL pissed about the episode, thinking theres actually a cartoon war between the two.

        • When you consider the two groups who create the shows it's really simple to understand how the Parker-Stone camp are just pointing out the facts of the matter in an insightful and humorous manner, and the libtard McFarland-Greene camp are crying like baby's because they are being called on their playground mentality BS.

          SP's only agenda is to expose hypocrisy, while FG's agenda is to be divisive... kinda like the @-hole they support politically...

          So it's no surprise to me that the libtards would label being called on their BS a "war". It's what they always do when they don't have a leg to stand on. I'm only surprised they haven't labeled it "cartoon ray-sism". Maybe if they cry long and loud enough their god-king will appoint an "Animation Czar" to regulate cartoon content?

        • The whole "compliment/insult" thing is a hallmark of the Southpark writing construct... if you're savvy enough to get the conservative message it all makes sense... "Put them on a pedestal/slap them to the ground"... it keeps the libtards from calling it out right hate speech... That and the fact that both sides of the argument are explored with tongue in cheek humor.

        • Aren't the creators of South Park pretty hard core conservatives? I mean I'm not a big fan of that show either, but I seem to remember them talking bout it.

          They have had their moments though, heh.

  • McFarlane on Maher said something to the effect "we'll let the republicans invade Iran but the army has to be all gays"
    That pissed me off, liberala screwing with the military makes my blood boil.

  • I think the show is funny at times.
    But after seeing Seth McFarlane on Bill Maher and learning what a flaming lib and bigot he is, I won't be watching family guy any more.

    • My wife was an avid viewer of Family Guy for years, so by proxy I got subjected to it. About 3 years ago it got so ridiculously libtard that I had to ask her if she agreed with the subject matter... to my surprise she said, "No." I asked her "Why are you still watching it?" She said, "To be honest, I don't know." Since then we have avoided it like the plague.

      • I don't know why on her situation, on my situation it was because it WAS funny at one point and I always hoped that it would get back to that and that Mcidiot was just going through a phase.

        • I think in her case, it was habit and channel surfing laziness... that and the fact that when she gets home from work she doesn't want to watch anything heavy that requires a lot of attention... like the news... and FG was on for a 3 hour block in the evenings where I live. (1 hour on one channel, followed by 1 hour on another, followed by 1 hour on even another channel - Mcidiot and crew must be raking in the royalties cash) She says she watched it because there was really nothing else on all the other cable channels... and it was easy to avoid searching for better content to watch.

          I think my attitude toward watching FG was best illustrated in the classic Southpark episode where Canada goes on strike for more money... when the kids are upset because "Terrence & Phillip" is a re-run they've seen multiple times, they start surfing channels and land on an episode of 'Family Guy': Cartman promptly turns off the TV and says, "No! NOOO! We are NOT... resorting to that! "

          It's also the episode that shows Ike picketing with a sign that says 'Honk if you support Canada'... a libtard couple driving by sees Ike and say:

          "He- hey honey, watch this. [the husband honks twice]"
          "Oh, we're supporting unions."
          "That's right; we're a very progressive couple."
          "Yes. [the wife reaches over and honks the horn] Oh, that's fun!"
          "Well we've done our good deed for the week. I think now I can make love to your @nus without making God angry."
          "Oh really? Goodie!"

          That segment pretty much sums up the libtard mind set IMHO.
