Oh for what is worth I would like to go on the record with a dire prediction. Obama will get a 2nd term. I can remember 1/2 though the Clinton administration it almost being a forgone conclusion that he would not be reelected. But sadly the average American believes whatever their TV and newspaper tell them.
I think it will come down to the race card. If a white guy runs against him, the media will portray him as a Klansman and urge Black America to not loose what they have gained and they should support the president by any means necessary.
Let's say a black man with 2 black parents runs against him.
The press would urge us to support our white brother (Yes that would be Obama) and tell us all the horror stories that would happen if we had a black president.
If a woman of any race runs we would hear how she might get distracted if she has another baby, Palin has proven that women just don't have the brains to be president and besides do you want some one with PMS in charge of the nuclear football?
These are all racist and sexist and worse than that they are not true. But look at the last election, McCain is too old, we all know old people are worthless. Palin is an air headed cheer leader who lacks the experience to be a den mother not to mention president. to be ... you remember how it went.
I agree with Jane. The main theme of this is the purverours of "hateful rederick" are paranoid and have nothing to worry about the comical and harmless Obama. Note 2 of the big items health care and climate change. Obamacare is getting closer every day and sadly there are Republicans that will vote for climate change legislation. Those 2 are enough to bankrupt the country.
I know this sounds paranoid but I wouldn't be surprised if the White house was behind this. Get the left fired up and wringing their congressmen and points out the right as a bunch of paranoid whack jobs.

I think they're trying to make it look like if we all come together, left and right, and "acknowledge" that Obama "hasn't done anything," that he truly is incapable and naive, then all of us right wing nuts will seem paranoid. We will drop our guard, and socialism will just seep on through, disintegrating the foundation of this country until it is unrepairable.
I stopped watching SNL long ago as they are full of crap *dirty language.* But I just heard this skit from the Number ONE radio-talk program, Rush --- and I was delighted. I think slivers of truth is now slowly appearing, Wow! You see, the big leftist media were naturally aghast when they heard this comedian spouted what is --- really the Truth! Americans are beginning to see that something is not going right here. Americans are now realizing --- WHAT's GOING ON IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS?!! No, we're not letting this Socialist-leaning Leftist lure us in any way or fashion! No way!
Ugh, the idea of the President being a guest host on SNL. Hell it was almost bad enough when Giuliani was on there.
My guess is that it won't be long before Obama guest-hosts (or makes a surprise appearance) so he can try to make light of it.
The show's attack on Obama is from the left: SNL is making the point that he did not move the liberal agenda forward as the left had expected. They are also saying that conservatives should not be so upset because Obama hasn't changed much from Bush's policies.
BTW the actor playing Obama has done a much better impression on previous shows. He must have been off his game last weekend.
I agree, that guy is an AWFUL Obama, despite the validity of the points they were making. I seem to remember somebody else as SNL's Obama before the election that wasn't bad...
No way Obama gets a second term when even the libs are starting to turn on him, which I love to see. Yeah, they aren't turning on him for the same reasons that I don't like the guy, but after listening to them all through Dubya's run, I love to see 'em turn on "The One" all the same.
