Incoming House Speaker John Boehner’s office (R-Ohio) pointedly vowed on Tuesday to push ahead with legislation repealing healthcare reform.
Boehner’s office responded to a letter sent by the Senate’s top five Democrats, vowing to block a House bill repealing health reform, with a terse, 65-word note.
Boehner’s office wrote:
Senators Reid, Durbin, Schumer, Murray and Stabenow:
Thank you for reminding us – and the American people – of the backroom deal that you struck behind closed doors with ‘Big Pharma,’ resulting in bigger profits for the drug companies, and higher prescription drug costs for 33 million seniors enrolled in Medicare Part D, at a cost to the taxpayers of $42.6 billion.
The House is going to pass legislation to repeal that now. You’re welcome.

The note comes in response to a letter released on Monday by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) office, in which the Democrats promise to block a bill repealing benefits within the healthcare law.
Boehner sealed the envelope with tears from his latest crying jag.

The only problem I have with him that he is coming at this from a very emotional place. Hopefully he wont be so emotional as time goes by.
I'll beleive it when I see it. Until then I'm not holding my breath as those in power won't give up said power easily...

I don't care if they have to send bills repealing Obamacare to the Liar-in-Chief for the next two years; I don't care if they have to shut down the government; I don't care if beaurocrats get pink-slipped. They need to not be whiny faced pussies..they need to make the commies (dumbocrats) blink first for once. They need to stop making stupid and destructive deals with the liars and cheats on the other side of the aisle. They need to be resolute about repealing as much marxist legislation as they can, going back as far as they can. They need to castrate 'big government'. In any case, we patriotic Americans need to get rid of all the RHINO's and put in their place real constitutional conservative individuals who don't look at Washington, DC as a carreer at our expense. And we need to stay awake this time!

well... republicans... this is the time to know how many of these republicans (and I suppose democrats) are actual fiscal (perhaps social) conservatives. If they aren't then yes it will be toilet time for them...

I think I misunderstood what you meant... did you mean that if they (the republicans in position) don't run things right they are in the toilet or did you mean that if they don't run things right (regardless of party) we conservatives are in the toilet?
Forgive me, I am a touch sick today. What i mean is the conservatives in power need to keep their promises. And the conservatives that elected them need to force them to keep their promises. I don't think all republicans are conservatives I guess.
Ok. Everyone is in the toilet if things go bad, but I hope that the real conservatives regardless of party will do what they are supposed to do.
