Moron Montel Williams fears America will send Muslims to internment camps

Remember back when Montel Williams promoted his sleazy TV show the the slogan, “Montel brings people together”? Well, apparently, he’s against bringing them together in internment camps. Especially if they’re Muslim.

Remember back when Montel Williams promoted his sleazy TV show the the slogan, “Montel brings people together?”

Well, apparently, he’s against bringing them together in internment camps. Especially if they’re Muslim.

Here’s an excerpt from his conversation with Frank Farley of Temple University:

Williams: We pulled something like this back in World War II when we decided to round up all Japanese Americans and put them in internment camps…The [anti-Muslim] rhetoric… could get out of hand. What do you think?

Farley: I agree totally… The possibilities of prejudice and racism and so on are incredible here. We should be treating this as a unique incident and look at the factors involved in this very unique and specific incident and not overgeneralize. Unfortunately, we tend to overgeneralize all the time. The idea that all Muslims are the same is ridiculous…

Williams: Even if it comes out… that his frame of reference was his religion and that was what was giving him the power within himself to make his stand, that doesn’t mean that the religion is to blame.

Farley: Absolutely, his interpretation [of Islam] may vary dramatically from [that of] his fellow Muslims.

Let us state very clearly that we are opposed to internment camps for Muslims.

On the other hand, interment camps for Air America hosts isn’t such a bad idea.

Just what America needs in its hour of darkness: Governor Montel Williams. Senator Montel Williams.
Or dare we dream it, President Montel Williams.

Following in the grand tradition of Clint Eastwood and Ronald Reagan, talk show host Montel Williams is thinking of running for office. On second thought, it’s more like he’s following the grand tradition of Jerry Springer.

The multi-talented Montel isn’t content with a resume that includes U.S. Marine, TV schlockmeister, Presidential coin con man, and Air America talk show host. Now this shiny-pated renaissance man says he may run for office.

“I’ve had many discussions at multiple levels of government about the responsibility of us all who feel as if we have the audacity to open our mouths and complain about what happens in our society and then not step up to the plate to do something about it,” Williams insisted. “And the best way to do something about it is through public service.”

Maybe Montel can combine his TV show with his governmental duties. No welfare payments for anyone until Governor Montel’s DNA tests prove who your baby’s daddy really is.

Air America adds trash talk TV host Montel Williams

montel_williamsFormer trash TV host and current presidential coin conman Montel Williams is joining Air America. He has the perfect resume for floundering libtalk network – no radio experience.

“Montel Across America” debuts in April. Here’s how Air America describes this momentous occasion in a press release:

“Meet Air America’s newest addition, Emmy award-winning host Montel Williams! His new Air America program is called ‘Montel Across America,’ and it debuts April 6 airing weekdays from 9am-12pm EST on radio stations across the country.”

“On radio stations?” Most press releases include the number of radio stations. Like “Dennis Miller will debut in 73 markets.” Or “Rush Limbaugh is heard on 600 radio stations.” But Air America really doesn’t want to get into that sort of thing because they have so few affiliates.

So let’s just leave it at “…debuts April 6 from 9am-12pm EST on radio stations….”

“Next up on Air America, Rikki Lake asks teenage girls, ‘Who’s your baby daddy?”
