There’s nothing funnier than liberals touting their religion. Absolutely nothing. Take Nancy Pelosi, for example. She argued against Republican budget cuts by attributing “biblical powers to heal” to the National Institutes of health.
CNS News has the details of Pelosi’s religious awakening:
When speaking at a press conference on Capitol Hill celebrating the first anniversary of the health care bill’s passage, Pelosi said, “There’s a cut in funding for the National Institutes of Health. This is not a healthy thing for our country because that research has answers, you know, that every family in America is one telephone call, one diagnosis, one accident away from needing the kind of biomedical research that can cure – really have the biblical power to cure in a very, very special way and so to cut back on that research is wrong.”
Holy Moses. The woman is nuts.

Apparently, Nancy Pelosi learned nothing from that incident a few years back where she quoted from St. Augustine to support her claim that you can be both pro-choice and Catholic, only to have the bishops of Denver tell her that she wasn't fooling anyone but herself.

You cannot have it both ways sonny, life does not work that way. If you want seperation of church and state in government it has to be complete.
