How successful do you think you’d be rehabilitating Muslim fanatics with something called the “art therapy rehabilitation program”?
You are correct. Whatever it is, it was obviously an abysmal failure. ABC News reports the ludicrous details:
Two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, according to American officials and Department of Defense documents. Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the Northwest bombing in a Monday statement that vowed more attacks on Americans.
American officials agreed to send the two terrorists from Guantanamo to Saudi Arabia where they entered into an “art therapy rehabilitation program” and were set free, according to U.S. and Saudi officials.
Guantanamo prisoner #333, Muhamad Attik al-Harbi, and prisoner #372, Said Ali Shari, were sent to Saudi Arabia on Nov. 9, 2007, according to the Defense Department log of detainees who were released from American custody. Al-Harbi has since changed his name to Muhamad al-Awfi.
The Art Therapy Rehabilitation Program. Or as it’s known in Waziristan, finger painting for fanatics.

Well this should make the people in Chicago feel very comfortable about moving Gitmo to Chitmo huh?
The joke was made a few times... Should the Terrorist be acquitted or just escape by their being so close to Chicago they can just go right to work for the Chicago Democrats. Saves them travel time.
Really, I'd think even terrorist would be scared for their lives with some of the violent crime that takes place on the South Side in Chicago. If the city started to get bombed or gassed I think very few people would notice at this point.
After all BHO keeping the USA unemployment rate at 10% makes him the biggest terrorist of them all...

At least 12 (I'd have to check the data - not Wikipedia) I believe have been killed on a battle field since getting out of Gitmo. Fighting for the terrorists of course! They were (again I not sure of the exact figures- just pretend I work for MSNBC and the facts are minor issues and should not get in the way of the story) shot by our guys or our allies. So this new wave of Gitmo alumni just keeps the tradition alive and well.
I am shocked that the bomber had to buy his own ticket. Isn't there some Federal funding to give free passage to those who are trying to kill us? ACORN needed to get on that wagon... I am stunned there is NOT a free flights for terrorist program under BHO.

The sad thing is that the only way some of these liberals or progressives or communists will EVER decide that there is some problem with a portion of the Muslims is if someone in their circle of friends or family is killed.
