Venn diagram explains the problem with TSA’s enhanced pat downs

Oddly enough, you get felt up when the TSA pats you down. Felt up like you were in the back seat of a 1965 Chevy Malibu in the back row at the drive-in theater. Felt up by some guy who now wants to be a union goon. Felt up like you’re getting a happy ending massage except it’s the TSA agent who gets the happy ending. Felt up like you haven’t been felt up since your last prostate exam. Felt up in a way where “no” is supposed to mean “no,” but “no” is not an acceptable answer.

This pretty much explains it all:

    • Good old Mr. Sulu. Circling around Uranus looking for a black hole. Cosmic KY cowboy, exploring "space", going where no man has gone before!

  • I like the idea. But aren't all prostitutes paid to touch you invasively? Jokes typically need to be fairly accurate, and Venn diagram jokes need to be exceptionally accurate, simply because the people who find humor in them are all scientifically backgrounded. Us science people love us some accuracy.

Perhaps the entire 'prostitute' bubble should be included inside the TSA bubble. That would be even funnier. Crap, I've ruined the funny :(.

But you get what I'm saying, right?

    • There needs to be a 3rd bubble that encompasses the other two called "people paid to touch your genitals"

The overlap of the existing two is just the number of people employed both as prostitutes and as TSA agents.

  • Whatever happened to that pesky little amendment, yanno, the one about unreasonable searches? I think some TSA jockey feeling up my crotch is pretty damn unreasonable.

    • Especially since there is no probable cause. Or is there now an assumption that, just because you are getting on a plane, you are planning a criminal act?

      • Exactly RockingHorse... exactly. If I am correct in this country you are supposed to be proven guilty to then be condemned and punished by your actions that were found to be unlawful in a court of law. This is in effect punishment and condemnation before any charges are brought upon your person and when nothing is found there is not even a "my bad" on the part of the government official. It is what it is... you get felt up pretty much a TAD less invasively than when you are going through first day of penitential lockup and you are not even a felon... excuse me? Why are we being punished by the acts of others who can so easily be profiled? Isn't there supposed to be reasonable facts to substantiate searches on your person and your property? What happened to not guilty until proven guilty? Why is it the burden on the citizen to proof non guilt?

  • If I was a prostitute I'd be very worried about being replaced by the TSA. Instead of cruising the bad part of town on Friday nights for hookers, people may start going to the airport to get their rocks off for free!

    • It almost worked for Senator Craig, but for the wide stanch and police officer intervening. He should have just joined the "new" Army, Air Force or Marines.
