“Why,” we can imagine liberals asking themselves, “can’t we bring affirmative action to our nation’s elementary schools?” Well, rest easy, wackos, because your wish has come true.
Of course, it happened in the People’s Republic of Michigan.
And true to its name, the Ann Arbor News has the news:
An Ann Arbor elementary school principal used a letter home to parents tonight to defend a field trip for black students as part of his school’s efforts to close the achievement gap between white and black students.
Dicken Elementary School Principal Mike Madison wrote the letter to parents following several days of controversy at the school after a field trip last week in which black students got to hear a rocket scientist.
“In hindsight, this field trip could have been approached and arranged in a better way,” Madison wrote. “But as I reflect upon the look of excitement, enthusiasm and energy that I saw in these children’s eyes as they stood in the presence of a renowned African American rocket scientist in a very successful position, it gave the kids an opportunity to see this type of achievement is possible for even them.”
Coming soon: Illegal alien children are given extra points on their tests just to make things fair.

Mr. Principal. Congrats. In an effort to prevent inequality...you have fostered...inequality. This is clear-cut discrimination, end of story. It's people like these, who wish to "close the achievement gap," that cause racism to endure. You, mr. principal, represent the very rationalization that racists use to explain their hatred. I find it very sad that in todays world Racisim is being used by Head of aSchool, no wonder there is so much trouble, we all live in a multi cultured society and should get along equally, it seems everyone but the white person can claim each other is being racist,I learnt the hard way, when my son was 10yrs
old he was sworn at by a ethnic girl, he told his friend he did not like her and a teacher heard him say just that" I dont like her" i was called into the school and the head tried to call my son a racist, i explained what had been said and told him it is the other way round and then left, that evening i had a plain clothed police officer come to my door, even though he was concerned by the other childs behaviour he told me my son would be on a register till he was 18yrs if in them 8yrs he done it again he would be arrested, i was gob-smacked and for that split sec i was racist when i said 1law for them loads for us meaning White. my son is now 22yr and has more ethnic friends than anyone could amagine and have been to their countries with them. my point is everyone should try to mix so our kids dont suffer. that Head and his governers should be SACKED. it would happen here .
You don't have to mix - just treat everyone the same.
My boyfriends says it best = I hate all people. why is it ok to use your race to be a racist. had this been done for white kids only, it would have been called a klan meeting.
Everyone involved with the decision to exclude all non black kids from the field trip should be fired, period, end of story. No exceptions, & no excuses, fired.

the other day, i read a report that said that you are a racist if you think blacks should not be helped out and should pick themselves up, like the irish, italian, and others before them.
but no...no, this right here isnt racist at all, thinking that people should help themselves, and not get any special treatment based on how much melanin is in their skin, now THAT is racist.
