Al Sharpton’s Moron Moment of the Day: Could you repeat that question?

MSNBC’s Al Sharpton is a quick learner. In just a matter of weeks he has mastered the fine art of asking interminably long, convoluted questions that end with the host’s exhaustion rather than with a question mark, something that has taken Chris Matthews years to perfect, and an area in which we are demonstrating our skill with the construction of this sentence?

We’re pretty sure Al lost track of where he was going about twenty seconds and three clauses into this question, yet continued to press forward, completely undeterred by the confusion in which he was enveloped.

It would have been a perfect Al Sharpton Moron Moment of the Day if only his guest had said, “Could you repeat the question?”

  • OK, we've banned him again. He'll probably find another way to leave comments and we'll continue the dance.

    • He's a pussy. He'd never say this stuff to anyone in person because they'd give him a well deserved ass-whoopin'

      • Is it even worth it for me to spend valuable time reading his crap? I won't I am having a good morning, something that I am sure he is not having since he has so much hate in there.

You are right CO2, the internet has made it easy for people to say things without fear of pain.

Thanks Editor, however I think this person is a regular. I have my suspicions. I find it interesting that he did not "assume" Alien was Black and I am assuming he didnt ask if the others that answered to him were Black but he did "assume" that I was Black when I do not believe there wasn't anything relatively Black about my post. So I am thinking it is a regular that doesn't have the BALLS to do it with his regular name.

        • There's plenty of people who have been lurking for years, reading everything, and waiting for what they feel is the right time to "speak." Every website that allows comments has commenters, and others who just read.

          • Uhm... with the timing and the methodology and the discovery of regulars who are racists I will still hold on to my suspicions. In any case, it doesn't matter racists are in the end... waste. I would not have hesitated to give a good kick in the nuts to any of those who would type that stuff here. They are cowards plain and simple.

          • I just realized that I am possible the only person of color in this entire site, or else the only regular person of color. That is actually kind of sad once I stop to think about it.

          • Notsosilent is a person of color as well. There may be others who just haven't made it known. Of course there is no reason why anyone would have to.

          • I didnt know that. Well that is good to know. Even if a minority there is some representation. You are right, we shouldn't have to announce it as it is not important in the end.

      • Perhaps he is trying to point out why the tragic incident is getting so much play after having been basically ignored for 2 weeks is that the gun grabbing gobs are working to eliminate the 'Stand Your Ground' law here in Florida. I'd basically agree with that summary. The law is relatively new but it has lots of enemies in the ranks of anti-rights dogs like everyone in the administration and most of the dems.

In this case we won't know what really happened for a long time because of all the B.S. that has been getting spread around. They are utilizing their greatest tool - the governmedia - to sway opinions with dis-information.

If Zimmerman was already being beaten on the ground before he drew his weapon it seems like he was probably cleared to shoot. Unless there comes to light some reliable evidence proving otherwise there can be hardly any argument that standing his ground was not a question to consider once he started getting his head smashed. Maybe someone will cough up a video they recorded of the assault showing Trayvon was not beating anybody and he was unjustly killed.

I'm so relaxed I can barely keep my fingers finging.

No, I don't think that is what he is trying to do.

          Agreed.

One officer did want to file manslaughter charges against Zimmerman. So something must have seemed a bit off. What exactly, I don't know. And let's not forget who his father is.

          Relaxed?..."happy daddy juice"?

  • did he ever say he was sorry to the 2 groups of white men he accused of rape but turns out it was untrue in both cases!!!!!

  • YO! What are you doin' taking my sketch from Living Color? I did this back in 1989 in my "The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste" sketch!

  • Sharpton is effective when he's in the streets shouting slogans into a bullhorn. But when he's in a TV studio where he has to talk effectively and coherently, he falls apart. In a news talk show format his limitations are hilariously apparent, he can't read a teleprompter and he can't think or speak in complete sentences and his buffoonery has become a running joke on IHTM.

Al's MSNBC's problem but our one man sitcom.

  • I was rather surprised to find that Al Sharpton's ratings in the 25-54 demo rival those of Chris Matthews. About half the time Sharpton either keeps or improves the audience size from Matthews' show.

Of course the Fox News Channel ratings are double or triple those of Matthews or Sharpton. Fox has been delivering an 11 year ass kicking to MSNBC and CNN.

      • A couple of things...

Matthews askes a question, then interupts the answer from his guest, & then answers his own question the way he wants it to be answered.

I have a feeling he has the thirst, if you catch my drift.

Last, & not least, he's well thought of by a handfull of hyperpolitical idiots in The Beltway & in Manhattan. So he has their support, but he's totally olbivious to the fact that he is waaaaay out of touch with what Americans who actually pay taxes & make this nation work feel.

You mean he went to the Oblivious school of posting?
