We always kind of had a soft spot for Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz. He’s liberal, but pragmatic, which confounds the hell out of most other liberals.
Dershowitz appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan Show with Col. Morris Davis, former chief prosecutor at Guantanamo, and Nicholas Kristof of The New York Times.
Their two-to-one advantage did them absolutely no good as Dershowitz demolished every argument they made for withholding the Bin Laden death photos.
Dershowitz: The precedent this would establish for suppressing material because it might be offensive or might lead to this, it would give Muslim extremists veto about what we can read, what we can hear. It harks back to the [Muhammad] cartoon issues and other forms of censorship. We should not censor because if we publish it will offend the sensibilities of people who don’t share our values.
Is it just our prejudices speaking or is Obama rapidly dissipating every advantage he got out of the Bin Laden killing?

I was watching one of the MSMs news coverage of OBL death today. The reporter, who was in Pakistan, said that most Pakistani's don't think he's dead. They thought the whole thing was very fishy....
Andy Levy from Red Eye said that instad of the iconic pictures of Osama as a warrior, we should showcase the pictures of him death in order for that to burn into the minds of people. Yes it will incite hatred, and violence but there may be ways to prepare everyone for it and then release it.
I have usually agreed with what I've heard Dershowitz say. It is possible I didn't listen to the crap he may have said. I'm selective in my propaganda channels, you know what I mean? He is a mean debate. He keeps a decent size stack of rocks handy to throw at his target. That disgusting piece of droopy, soggy toast kristof gives me creepyskin! He probably has that deadfish handshake thing too. I HATE that. Slap that little girlfriend innamouf.

Buttcrack is lying and badly at that, as fail spreads, he needs all the popularity he can get and he need it quickly.
He either count on Osama being gone for a few years or that Osama won´t bust him, knowing that the hunt would resume. Latter case would be a golden opportunity for Al-Quaida´s cause, thou, shatter buttcrack´s regime with just one or two videos tapes.
I don't care one way or the other if the death photos are released or not released, I'm satisfied Bin Laden is dead.
But I reject any argument that the photo should not be released as it might offend the sensibilities of Muslims (or anybody else for that matter). Accepting that line of reasoning leads to self-censorship.
Anyway, I agree the photos will eventually be published (or leaked; I'd wager that some news organizations would pay good money for the pictures)
after many of the other documents found in OBL's hideaway are aired.
Its obvious they are throttling the stream of info. New videos of bin Laden's meager life are coming out of DoD even now. I perceive an attempt to de-mythologize the man (how pathetic that he sits there watching himself on TV?). If they think they can take the shine off him a bit, they'll release something else in due time.. perhaps clip of burial-at-sea or something of similar magnitude. I'd like to see the headshot like anyone, but expect we'll wait for many moons

The only reason I can think of for why BHO would not want the photographs of a dead OBL released is because it offends HIS Muslim sensibilities. He is personally offended and so the rest of us have to put up with his pansy assed little girly boy Muslim tendencies. Deep down inside, he probably wants to cut Joe Biden's head off while screaming "Allahu Akbar!"
Arguing with idiots only makes the idiots look worse. I wonder how ol barry feels after hearing one of his instructors at Harvard wanting the photos released? Im certainly not a fan of Mr. Dershowitz, however, on this point he is CORRECT. Listen barry and do what you are told from one of your professors.
I would bet the farm that Obama, antisemite, never took any of the courses Dershowitz, proIsrael jew, taught. It would be like asking Superman take a bath in Kryptonite.
Didn't this NY Times goofball start his argument by saying that if they want to give him and his newspaper the photos exclusively then he would have no problem publishing them? Then goes on to say that if all media outlets publish them that it would be a problem for national security?
It is unbelievable that we have gone from the times of watergate and the press working for the exposure of information to protect the 1st amendment and the American people to being so biased for a specific political party or president that they are willing to sell out the presses constitutional rights. Imagine if this was Bush trying to supress this information from the Press? All of this from the greatest transparent president...what a joke.
