We’d say Arizona Sheriff Larry Dever is giving the U.N. more respect than it deserves, but far be it from us to let our personal opinions color our 100% impartial presentation of the news.
Dever is sheriff of Cochise County, which lies along the Mexican border. He told CNSNews.com that he’s not happy that the U.S. State Department recently reported Arizona to the United Nations Human Rights Council. Not happy at all.
“Well, it’s just amazing to me,” Dever said. “Course, I have about as much regard for the U.N. as I do the vermin that hides in the rocks around my house here and reaches out and tries to bite me every now and then.”
President Bush blew off the U.N. Human Rights Council as a joke because its members included consistent human rights violators like China, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Russia, Cuba, Pakistan, Tunisia and Egypt.
But the Obama administration, in its infinite wisdom, couldn’t wait to join up, claiming that U.S. efforts could improve the organization.
Instead, we’re now ignoring those nations human rights violations and making up human rights violations our own states are supposedly committing.
Of course, they’re vermin. But as the scorpion said to the turtle in the punch line of that old joke, “You knew what I was when you found me.”

The thing is that the UN doesn't really have any power nor any relevancy it stopped being relevant about the same time it was created. To give moral equivalency to what is happening in Arizona to let's say imprisoning ENTIRE GENERATIONS of Christian families to ensure that their message will not continue to spread, is disgusting.
I, like Blues Junky, agree that they "take an oath to protect the citizens of this country, and the Constitution", and that due to their complete refusal to abide by
this oath, means they are committing a treasonous offense. They should be tossed out on their ears!! How dare our own government side against the people of Arizona in support of the law breakers from another country!!
Sad to say the Democrat-controlled Senate is Constitutionally the body that initiates impeachment procedings against the sitting President. Given the current make-up of the Senate ( including RINO's ) it ain't gonna happen. :-(

To strike fear into the other States hearts. There are about 20 States considering legislation similar to Arizona's. And zero doesn't like that at all!

I honestly think this is a treasonous offense. Our elected, and appointed, officials take an oath to protect the citizens of this country, and the Constitution...not an oath to do the bidding of some group of little piss ants that would like nothing better than to see this country on it's knees.
The States granted the Federal Gov't limited powers, not the other way around...

Move the UN to Sudan to learn what real human rights violations look like.

How can you fire Hillary? Thought she was fire-proof.
If Obama crosses her, she might run for President again--and probably get the nomination.
