Was it Photoshop or divine intervention?

Anyone else think this photo that ran in the New York Times article, As Health Vote Awaits, Future of a Presidency Waits, Too, might have had a teensy weensy bit of ever-so-slightly biased Photoshop work? Or was it simply divine intervention?

  • Showbama is the anti-christ if ever there were to be one. Since the man took office we've had massive sink holes all over the country, more storms and disasters here and world over in many years. It's either that or he wants the title King showbama... when will Americans get their heads out of their rears, stand up and remind everyone what being American means?

  • It's funny that the question here was whether this was created artificially. OF COURSE IT WAS! That's not even a question. It's a graphic on news source like all of them use (yes, even Fox) that isn't even trying to be a real 'photo'.

    How do you guys feel about Bush playing up his religious beliefs for political gain?

  • It obviously a cross and some minor halo bloom effect around the head of the Dumba*s in Chief who we know as our POTUS.

    That said... Was this meant to tug at the hearts of all who see it to have some grand injection of emotion take hold and have the masses break down and cry for salvation from the the Great Obama? If that was the aim then... Major Fail NY Times!

    I think this was digitally altered. Poorly at that. No jokes that I am surprised he has a cross behind him and not a half moon and scimitar behind him instead today; I will say that I rank this up there with images of religious figures that are 'seen' grilled cheese sandwiches. Best left for those who find coded messages in oil stains in parking lots.

    Honestly NY Times, most humans are not that gullible. A picture might be worth a thousand words, yet Obama's teleprompter can scroll a thousand words a minute. Anyone who has heard Barry's grand vision of the Socialist States of Amerika from his orations can cut the crap and know that he is a shi*ty leader.

    One Photoshopped image vs all the nonsense found in Barry's performance record? Put both on the scales and it is not even close- the BS from Obama is more telling then some doctored photo.

    That is the truth. Pretty as a picture isn't it?

  • As someone who works in Photoshop regularly, there is no way this is not created artificially. If it were lighting from the background, the cross pattern would not overlay the body. Plus where did the White House image magically appear in the foreground.

    As of today, 3/15, after I saw his Ohio campaign stop, I've changed my response to anyone who asks how I feel about our glorious leader. I generally would react that I didn't like the policies and the spending. But after hearing him say that the $500 billion cut in Medicare to fund his new healthcare program would rescue Medicare, my reaction is now simpler... "He's a lying MF!"

  • But the Grey Lady is the Paper of Record. Its also not biased, thats talk radio extremism. Health care will save money. Blah Blah.
    But, funy thing is I live in NY City and most liberals treat this picece of crap paper like its goddamn scripture.
