It’s bad enough when Michelle Obama is compared to Jackie Kennedy. And based on the two clips below, it’s obvious that Barack Obama should be contrasted to John F. Kennedy, not compared to him.
President Obama revealed his first budget yesterday and two issues clearly differentiate the two Democrat presidents – returning to the moon and taxes. On one hand, Kennedy inspired us to do the impossible and cut taxes. On the other hand, Barack Obama kills the dream of manned space travel and revels in the imposition of a wide range of new taxes .
This ain’t no Camelot.

JFK was like Clinton for me that on the personal level I couldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, however Clinton was no fool, when the left policies weren't working he turned to the center right. JFK also was doing his thing from the center right. Had the idiot Clinton not found it necessary to exercise his lust while in the office (and gotten exposed) he would have had a pretty good legacy... like JFK (who DID exercise his lust while in office however for many reasons was not exposed).
By modern Democrat party standards, JFK would be seen as an evil ultra-conservative nutcase. My, how far the party has come.

that means now, i think, that there are MORE government workers than there are active duty military....

It's the difference between a true leader and one who is just a wanna-be. The notable difference between Kennedy and current politicians is that he was never divisive. He always spoke about "Americans," unifying and inspiring us to be better.
