We knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of ours. You’re no Jack Kennedy, Mr. President.

It’s bad enough when Michelle Obama is compared to Jackie Kennedy. And based on the two clips below, it’s obvious that Barack Obama should be contrasted to John F. Kennedy, not compared to him.

President Obama revealed his first budget yesterday and two issues clearly differentiate the two Democrat presidents – returning to the moon and taxes. On one hand, Kennedy inspired us to do the impossible and cut taxes. On the other hand, Barack Obama kills the dream of manned space travel and revels in the imposition of a wide range of new taxes .

This ain’t no Camelot.

Warning: Do not call Buzz Aldrin a coward or a liar

79-year old Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin punched out a conspiracy nut who didn’t believe he went to the moon.

Buzz Aldrin was a fighter pilot and Apollo 11 astronaut who walked on the moon. Doesn’t matter that he’s now 79-years old because he’s still a tough sumbitch, as one of those we-never-went-to-the-moon conspiracy wackos discovered when he approached Aldrin and called him a coward and a liar.

Aldrin responded with a quick punch and the wacko started seeing stars that no astronaut has ever seen.

Way to go, Buzz.

Paranoid Ugandan president says Africans must travel to the moon

The hideously ugly Ugandan national flag. Let's tackle the problems here on earth before we go to the moon.
The hideously ugly Ugandan national flag. Let's tackle the problems here on earth before we go to the moon.

You may have thought Uganda had enough problems, what with poverty, various civil wars, child slavery, mass murder, AIDS, and a hideously ugly national flag.

Nope. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has bigger fish to fry. He says Africans need to go to the moon.

Why? To investigate what developed nations have been doing up there.

“The Americans have gone to the moon. And the Russians. The Chinese and Indians will go there soon. Africans are the only ones who are stuck here,” Museveni said in a speech to the Uganda Law Society.

“We must also go there and say, ‘What are you people doing up here?’”

We really can’t think of any concluding comment funnier than that. So let’s just repeat it.

“We must also go there and say, ‘What are you people doing up here?’”
