In what may be the least surprising announcement made in months, Janet Napolitano revealed Thursday that the troops she promised Arizona and other border states won’t be in place for weeks. Maybe months.
Arizona lawmakers asked for National Guard troops on the border and Napolitano promised to have them in place by August 1, but it looks like Tucson’s just going to have to wait a little longer. Or a lot longer.
“The first began arriving, or the command and control elements began arriving, on the 1st of august. They should all be there within, I would say, 30 to 60 days,” said Homeland Security Secretary Napolitano.
Napolitano went on to say, “Or 90 days. Or maybe 120 days. Or maybe not at all. You know what I love about my job? The more you lie, the easier it gets.”

Sadly its really not about putting extra security on the boarder, National Guard or big fences, this whole big production is not about legal immigration, we all are from somewhere and all of us would welcome anyone who wants to make their life better who Legally comes into this county. Want to stop the illegals? AKA: criminals! NO anchor babies, revoke any citizenship that was illegally obtained (anchor babies are not covered and were never meant to be covered under the 14th Amendment) No free housing, medical, food, lunches, no free education or any other benefit currently being passed out like raffle tickets to the illegals (that has created a cottage industry within government, what a surprise) Any person or company hiring an illegal will be fined $5000. first offense per individual, $20,000 for the second offense and jail term following for any third offense. Illegals will not be held in hotel style or be given legal service or a governmental representative to hear their case, they will be placed under military care in a tent city where one meal of baloney will be provided until they are processes and returned to country from which they came, with ALL associated cost billed to that country! repeat offenders, bill will include additional processing fee of $5000. (proceeds to go to rebuilding American business, deteriorated education system, and communities!
Let's see . . . Federal government has ignored problem of illegal immigation for decades. Arizona passes state law reiterating federal law on illegal immigration. Liberals start crying. Most Americans reveal they are in favor of said law, and would like a similar law in their own states. In a panic the idiot in chief promises over a thousand troops to help secure the border. Law is challenged in court, most meaningful aspects are suspended. No troops to border. See the progression here? Except it won't work, because Americans are NOT THAT STUPID (I hope). There were never going to be any troops, it was one more sop to the public. Give them bread and circuses. Obama is taking violin lessons.
And in a startling developement, Congress just passed and the Half-Cracker™ president signed an appropriation bill for $600 million to be used for US border control.
To little, too late, and most will probably go to local state politicians pockets ( I mean campaign funds).
This administration and everything that they are doing is really just like a nightmare. All the worse aspects of a nightmare are there, disjointed disassociated elements happening at random times and it all seems real, but as though you know it's not real, and it's OK because I can just wake up... But I'm not asleep. Is that insanity???
