Back during the Depression, a newspaper reporter asked Babe Ruth how he could justify making more money than the president of the United States. Ruth responded, “I had a better year than he did.”
Unfortunately, that explanation won’t work for top British government climate guru John Hirst. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has had an awful year, but it shines in comparison to Hirst’s.
In this interview, BBC host Andrew Neal absolutely puts the global warming guru on the hot seat for his office’s abysmal weather forecasting record and outrageous salaries.
It’s almost laugh-out-loud-funny to watch Hirst squirm while trying to answer questions such as, “Since you can’t the summer or the winter right in your forecasts, why should we give any credence to your forecast to what the temperature will be in the 2050 or 2020, which is what you do.”

There might be global warming or cooling but the important issue is whether we, as a human race, can do anything about it.
There are a host of porkies and not very much truth barraging us everyday so its difficult to know what to believe.
I think I have simplified the issue in an entertaining way on my blog which includes some issues connected with climategate and “embarrassing” evidence.

wow this is good... this guy is dancing around the question. G-d made this guy and his ilk look like fools. Like the fools that they are.
As I have said for years-an ice age is inbound-and we are about to enjoy it. These climate change assholes are going to be tarred/feathered, and I hope, burned at the stake. They don't deserve the respect they get-and they should be held accountable, and be forced to pay back all they have cost the citizens of the world. Then, get out the gasoline, and kindling!
Oh the irony. I would hate to think of the carbon foot print such a glorious use of kindling would create. Regardless, I've already invested heavily in Tar and Poultry Futures.
'saving life and limb' by promoting falsehoods and propaganda? and doing one heck of a job, I can see that. When will people wake up and see this for what it is, a hack job from beginning to end. Aspects of your government want to fear monger and legislate to control more of your money and Global Warming is just a means to an end. Actual Truth be Damned.
