According to Chris Matthews, Obama could solve all his problems if he would just dump his trusty Teleprompter. That’s the key to communicating with the American people and selling his message.
“I really support the President on a lot of his views, in fact all of them almost,” Matthews complained, “but I got to tell you something, Michael, if he doesn’t get rid of that damn Teleprompter, it’s like an eye test. He’s just reading words now. It’s separating him from us.”
“You got to a meeting with him I’m told, if businessmen are invited to meet him at the White House, he hauls out the damn Teleprompter and he reads to them. Well, why even bring people into the room? Just have the damn Teleprompter. I sense it’s getting between him and us. And I thought that speech last night was a terrible, well, a great example rather of him using the Teleprompter instead of his heart and his mind.”
You’re right, Chris. It’s all the Teleprompter’s fault. Obama’s not a socialist, the Teleprompter’s a socialist. Either that or the Teleprompter is a Republican plant. It’s forcing him to read its words. He’s a helpless victim of the Teleprompter, damn it. It’s not his fault.

Uhm.... separates him from us... That is an interesting way to express himself. He wants to be near Obama, he wants to feel Obama's presence from his heart ... that is disturbing.
Sounds like juvenile puppy love or hero worship. Either way it's symptomatic of a deeper problem.
Yes it IS a problem. It is vastly disturbing. I dont mind that he may be a fan but there is something wrong with separates him from us statement. It sounds like a pervertion of Romans 8:38-39. So I think it is a form of worship that he is getting himself into.
I think he just wants Obama's stimulus to 'touch his life'.
What the hey, they're both over 21.
EWWWW but LOL :-D
It isn't only the fact that he uses a Teleprompter, it's the fact that Obama is both a socialist and a Muslim who supports America's enemies, and whose agenda is completely the opposite of the vast majority of the American people.
Don't try to tell me Obama is not a Muslim!
chris needs to apply for a name change: Richard Cranium comes to mind.
I feel sorry for the Tommy Teleprompter, can y'all imagine having to tolerate that drivel over & over again. Not to mention Tommy has proved a couple times he has a sense of humor when he has mixed up obama speeches. I think seriously though the time he used a teleprompter to talk to school kids that was the over the edge one for me.
Doesn't he inderstand that without the teleprompter, Obama does not know what is approved for him to say. And Look at all the srewups the few times he has tried to speak extemporaneously. Two weeks of back peddling and "what I MEANT to say was. . . "
Tingle down the leg Mathews gave ARZ. gov. Jan Brewer a hard time for the time-lapse in the governor debate , But at least Gov. Brewer does'nt have a P.H.D. in teleprompter like Osama Obama
ream a-manual will never let him get rid of the teleprompter... he'd be saying shit like spread the wealth around. mathews needs that tingle.... and admittedly hasn't had it in quite a while. jackass.
Can you imagine how stupid he would look without his little buddy? Maybe even some of the die-hards who still haven't found the time to scrape the Obama-Biden stickers off their cars would notice. And wouldn't you think that most of those fools would at least have scraped off the Biden part of the sticker?
The willingness to suspend disbelief is strong in them.
Surely they will at some point in time realize the caliber of gaffe-machine they have. It is why I think most comedians are in the tank -- with such juicy material, why pass it up?
Teleprompters are fifth columnists planning a takeover of the US, it's all so obvious now!
(in a 'rise of the machines' kinda way, or whatever.... at least they're more intelligent than Obama....)
But if he got rid of the teleprompter he wouldn't know what to say.....
That would explain his complete disdain for traditional press conferences, wouldn't it?
