  This is not some "right wing conspiracy" by any means. It is a QUOTE from the man himself. His stated purpose in plain English.

  Stealing away more and more of people's income and pissing it away is a nice step to gain control (unjustly and in a villainous way- would BHO have it any other way however?) of the living that free men can go about doing now.

• Exactly. In addition to federal and state taxes we pay fees and taxes on everything else from services, goods, etc. That is what I mean by surviving. Just to survive we need to pay for these things. If the feds take more we will have nothing.

• We already pay upwards to 50% of our income on taxes: Federal tax, Federal excise tax, State tax, property tax, city tax, sales tax, fuel tax, utility tax, dining tax, telephone tax, hidden tax (taxes levied on businesses that are passed to consumers), vehicle licensing fees, user fees, luxury tax, cost of unfunded mandates, ad nauseam. Then when we die, add to that estate taxes.

  If the feds take 50% we are really screwed.

• There would be a myriad of "unintendend" consequences. Schools, colleges and universities will be forced to close or not allow as many students in becaues this will affect even loans. If people do not become educated out of fear of not paying back loans that will mean future generations of unskilled workers or loans get defaulted that will make the country evenmore bankrupt that it is.

  Let's not forget these types of situation were people feel the squeeze so hard they are gasping for air bring out the crazies in mass numbers. This will be a scary country to live in and considering that a lot of countries out there are screwed up where exactly are we supposed to go for release and freedom?

  People won't have money to do anything other than to survive, and even the ability to survive will be downgraded. Basically it will be a situation where opportunity to improve one's lifestyle will be snatched away. Everyone will be poor and no one can afford to hire anyone to do anything. People better wake the heck up. This is for real, this is not a joke.

• KQ, the sad part is that Cramer left out all sorts of things. What he said about Obama-care ia true & you will have tax rates of 50 plus %. Also, we have Cap & Trade & a Value Added Tax(VAT)coming down the road as well. People will have nothing after the federal & state tax collectors rape them, & then maybe, just maybe, they will understand the hope & change they voted for.

  so basically you don't pay mortgage, nor gas/electricity, car fuel, kids' education, clothes, food, medicine...? what is wrong with these people? you get to keep half your money?

  First of all it is my money so heck yeah I should be able to KEEP as much of it as I can. I do not work for the government so the government can sustain itself so it can get into the business of taking care of people's every single need, the govt should be getting just enough to defend us, represent us and safeguard our interests around the world, make laws to protect us, hire people to enforce the laws and guard those that break them and to guarantee safe infrastructures (roads, etc). I shouldnt be paying the government half or more of what I work so hard to get just so it can go and put money in the pocket of people that do not take care of themselves nor to make it possible for corrupt people in govt to enrich their coffers. The govt doesnt need half my money. The govt shoud get on a budget so it can self sustain with incredibly much less. G-d the creator of the entire universe and who owns everything only demands 10%. Who the hell does politicians think they are?

  Second is he out of his mind? We never get to keep the money that the govt let us have for ourselves because there is a thing called cost of life. The money we earn goes to ensure our survival and to enhance our lifestyles to best of our abilities including giving our children something better (college, etc). Also we want to leave something of consequence for the generations to come after we die or during our lifetime AND many of us actually want to help people who need help so they can become self sustaining. What is wrong with doing something fun with the money too?

  This is disgusting that a person actually has this mentality. So I cannot pay for college for my kid nor save money for rainy days and unexpected costs, nor buy myself a house that I can afford nor be able to afford a decent funeral for myself or family members, nor do anything fun like travel every once in a while because half or more of my money goes into the pockets of the govt? And then the rest goes on just to survive?

  Disgusting. Impractical. Nonsense.
