Rick Sanchez, the poster boy for CNN’s ratings problems, once said Iceland was too cold for volcanoes. He once read the words “ad lib a tease” straight off the teleprompter. And he once asked a guest how long nine meters is in English. But he may have topped himself last week.
That’s when he looked an Arizona state representative Rick Murphy in the eye and said, “What is your beef with illegal immigration?”

Whether illegal immigrants pay no taxes, some taxes or full taxes is irrelevant. The fact is that they are here illegally. Does it not bother anyone that people who have no respect for the law are living and working amongst them?
Oh and my beef is with dumb news anchors (correction: ex-anchors).

The reason conservatives go on Ricky's show is so they can do to him what Amm Coulter did about a week ago. She knew what he was all about and went on to completely "ragdool" him on his own show. Unfortunately Mr. Murphy appears to have come on this show expecting to get interviewed by a credible journalist.

Well Rick my main problem with "illegal" immigration is that it is ILLEGAL. They are committing a crime the moment they come into the country through the back door, then as they increase in numbers they expect benefits that should go to LEGAL immigrants and citizens. Overall the way he went about it was a little douchy, there was no reason to be rude. All the good things that illegal immigrants do or may do, do not make all the bad things go away or lesser in comparison.
Why do people keep accepting invites to interviewed by CNN people. The conservatives know Rick is an idiot and they still go on his show. Why? Let Rick book a liberal; so what if they spew into the echo chamber? The ratings are so low the CNN has no impact on the conversation anyway.

I would like to say, keep doing what you do, because if you keep doing what your good at. Which is looking like a person who may have dropped out of school in the 6th grade, then CNN’s rating should keep going down farther.

I have been in the mortgage industry for 22 years and own a small bank that sells loans on Wall Street. So if you want facts, I have one for you. Illegal immigrants cost the mortgage industry billions of dollars, because of the 100% no doc loans, that barney frank and friends at Fannie Mae came up with I could show you 1000’s of loans that not only did they not make their 1st payment and squatted on the property for the months that it took banks to kick them out / foreclose on them. So no, the majority of illegals do not pay property taxes AT ALL, let alone their house payment.
And what about all the income tax that is being lost because they are illegal and yes some have a tax ID card and they DO NOT FILE taxes to pay that 1099 income.
Rick, you pay taxes, so is it really ok that your tax dollars pay for illegal’s medical cost and that INS rates are higher because it has to be for the TAX Payers to subsidize the NON TAX payers for their health care.

Gas taxes
Cell phone taxes
At the pay levels of illegals neither Americans nor illegals pay income taxes, and Americans cost more because they can claim earned income tax credits.

There's a lot of information there with statistics and numbers and all that factual kind of stuff that gets in the way of snappy comments, but maybe if you try really hard you can actually learn something.
Illegals cost this nation way more then they will ever pay in. Health care, education, criminal activity, social services, & fraud are just a few problems way pay for that dwarf what they pay in.
