Rick Sanchez fired by the evil Jewish media overlords at CNN

Adios, amigo. You were usually good for at least one “stupid anchorman” story each week. So let’s bid Rick a fond farewell by taking a look back at three of Rick’s most embarrassing comments.

If you hear of any television stations or cable news networks that are looking for an ignoramus anchor, please let Rick Sanchez know.

CNN just released this statement:

“Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.“

This, of course, comes just hours after the public became aware of Sanchez’ satellite radio interview with CNN contributor Pete Dominick in which the now-former anchor said:

“I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like (Jon) Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.”

We ended our previous Rick Sanchez story by asking the question, “How long until Sanchez is fired?” The answer, it turns out, was about four hours.

Adios, amigo. You were usually good for at least one “stupid anchorman” story each week. So let’s bid Rick a fond farewell by taking a look back at three of Rick’s most embarrassing comments.

This is for you, Rick.

Rick Sanchez becomes the Mel Gibson of cable news, says CNN is part of a national Jewish media cabal

The CNN moron went off on Jon Stewart and his Jewish bosses on Pete Dominick’s satellite radio show yesterday. He got things rolling by calling Stewart “a bigot” and it went downhill from there.

The stupidest man in news has gone beyond mere stupidity to career suicide. He’s now become the Mel Gibson of cable news.

The CNN moron went off on Jon Stewart and his Jewish bosses on Pete Dominick’s satellite radio show yesterday. He got things rolling by calling Stewart “a bigot” and it went downhill from there.

Dominick: How is he a bigot?
Sanchez: I think he looks at the world through, his mom, who was a school teacher, and his dad, who was a physicist or something like that. Great, I’m so happy that he grew up in a suburban middle class New Jersey home with everything you could ever imagine.
Dominick: What group is he bigoted towards?
Sanchez: Everybody else who’s not like him. Look at his show, I mean, what does he surround himself with? … I’m telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart, and to imply that somehow they, the people in this country who are Jewish, are an oppressed minority? Yeah.

Two questions:

  1. How long until Sanchez is fired?
  2. How long until some liberal media maven calls Sanchez a “conservative bigot?”

UPDATE: The answer to question #2, it turns out, was just four hours. Go to Rick Sanchez fired by the evil Jewish media overlords at CNN

Rick Sanchez dumbfounded to learn that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a bit extreme

In this clip, Rick reacts to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s U.N. speech in which he suggests that 9/11 may have been an inside job. He’s shocked when he finally realizes that the Iranian leader is a bit of a radical.

A week just doesn’t seem complete without at least one clip of CNN’s Rick Sanchez demonstrating his remarkable stupidity.

In this clip, Rick reacts to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s U.N. speech in which he suggests that 9/11 may have been an inside job. He’s shocked when he finally realizes that the Iranian leader is a bit of a radical.

What was your first clue, Rick?

Rick Sanchez stupidity alert! Rick Sanchez stupidity alert!

CNN’s human gaffe machine insisted – vehemently insisted – that the White House had never said unemployment would remain under 8% if the $timulus bill were passed.

Once a week or so, we are forced to issue a Rick Sanchez stupidity alert. Today is the day.

CNN’s human gaffe machine insisted – vehemently insisted – that the White House had never said unemployment would remain under 8% if the $timulus bill were passed.

Of course, he was proven wrong within moments and had to make the following mea culpa.

May we suggest that Rick make apologies a regular part of his proram. You know, kind of like Ed Schultz does Crazy Talk, Rick could do Apology Talk, a segment at the end of each show where he apologizes for all the stupid things he said that day.

Ahhh, why aren’t we programming CNN? We couldn’t do worse than the current people.

Is Rick Sanchez (a) stupid, (b) a racist, (c) a stupid racist, or (d) none of the above?

Mark this day in history. If we’re not mistaken, this is the first time any conservative website has ever defended Rick Sanchez. Of course, we’re forced to defend him by calling him stupid, but so be it.

Jessica Yellin guested on Rick’s CNN show Monday to discuss the “Is Obama a Muslim” issue.

NewsBusters.org describes the story:

Jessica Yellin explained that “this is the first time he’s talked about it since the polls showing how many Americans believe him to be Muslim came out” and that “you get the sense that he’s been sort of through this. He wants to set the record straight, but he really does seem to accept that he’s not going to convince everyone, and he’s not going to spend a lot of time and energy on something that’s not going to change.”

Sanchez replied to Yellin full of frustration: “I’m just sitting here just shaking my head. He is the cotton-picking president of the United States!” He continued with another slighter gaffe: “If the president of the United States doesn’t have enough of a bully pulpit to convince people of a lie – that a lie is a lie, I should say, then – you know, where are we? What kind of planet are we living on? What the hell is going on here?”

Moments later, after taking a commercial break, Sanchez came back with an apology, crediting his Twitter followers for spotting his error:

SANCHEZ: This is great. This is what works about having a conversation with my viewers throughout this newscast, because you know that I’m here on Twitter and I read what you write during the commercial breaks. And many of you are pointing out a fault that I just- a faux pas that I just made, and I want to apologize for it, because I obviously didn’t mean any disrespect or anything when I said that.”

Obviously, Rick Sanchez isn’t racist. He merely used a figure of speech – a perfectly acceptable figure of speech – but because of liberal political correctness gone wild, one for which he felt obligated to apologize.

Besides, Rick’s a liberal so no one ever would have seriously suggested that he’s racist. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about his stupidity.

Glenn Beck calls Rick Sanchez “the dumbest man on television”

Glenn Beck. Love him or hate him, it’s tough to disagree with him when he describes CNN anchor Rick Sanchez as “quite possibly the dumbest man on television. And that’s saying something because there are some dumb people in television.”

Here’s Beck hilariously riffing on some of Sanchez’ more famous inanities.

Just when you thought Rick Sanchez couldn’t say anything more stupid, he goes and fools you

Rick Sanchez, the poster boy for CNN’s ratings problems, once said Iceland was too cold for volcanoes. He once read the words “ad lib a tease” straight off the teleprompter. And he once asked a guest how long nine meters is in English. But he may have topped himself last week.

Rick Sanchez, the poster boy for CNN’s ratings problems, once said Iceland was too cold for volcanoes. He once read the words “ad lib a tease” straight off the teleprompter. And he once asked a guest how long nine meters is in English. But he may have topped himself last week.

That’s when he looked an Arizona state representative Rick Murphy in the eye and said, “What is your beef with illegal immigration?”

Feel free to watch the clip several times to savor the stupendous Sanchez stupidity.

Rick Sanchez demonstrates how the Gulf Coast is going to get screwed

You can always count on CNN and Rick Sanchez to provide high tech graphics that tell the real story. In this screen cap, Mr. Sanchez shows how the oil leak will screw the Gulf Coast.

One might say the graphic is a bit too graphic.

CNN’s Rick Sanchez channels Ted Baxter, makes complete fool of himself. Again.

The only thing missing here is Mary Tyler Moore burying her face in her hands and saying, “Ohhhh, Ted.” Sanchez went to a break on Monday by reading exactly what was on his Teleprompter. And when we say exactly, we mean exactly.

The only thing missing here is Mary Tyler Moore burying her face in her hands and saying, “Ohhhh, Ted.”

Sanchez went to a break on Monday by reading exactly what was on his Teleprompter. And when we say exactly, we mean exactly.

Up next…ad lib…a tease,” Sanchez said. “That’s what it says right here. I’m supposed to ad lib about something that is…that I should know about, right? And this is going to surprise you…”

In honor of Ted Baxter, let’s all bury our faces in our hands and say in unison, “Ohhhh, Rick.”

And as an option, you can also add, “You friggin’ moron.”

CNN reporter thinks all black men anchors look alike

Rick Sanchez had the day off and T.J. Holmes was filling in for him when correspondent Jeanne Meserve did a live report. Problem is, Meserve couldn’t tell the difference between Holmes and Don Lemon, CNN’s other black anchor.

Just imagine if this had happened on Fox News. The libs would once again be howling the word “raaaaaaaacist.”

Rick Sanchez had the day off and T.J. Holmes was filling in for him when correspondent Jeanne Meserve did a live report. Problem is, Meserve couldn’t tell the difference between Holmes and Don Lemon, CNN’s other black anchor.

Holmes attempted to laugh about it after the incident by saying, “Yes, I’m T.J. It’s alright. She knows who I am. It’s okay.”

It’s an easy mistake to make. Kind of like we watch CNN and sometimes think we’re watching MSNBC. You know how it is when they all look alike.

Jon Stewart rips CNN host a new Sanchez

We’re not big Jon Stewart fans, but even a blind sow occasionally finds a truffle. Consider Stewart the sow. Consider CNN’s Rick Sanchez the truffle.

We’re not big Jon Stewart fans, but even a blind sow occasionally finds a truffle. Consider Stewart the sow. Consider CNN’s Rick Sanchez the truffle.

Let’s not give Stewart all the credit, though, because Sanchez’ performance was pretty damn hilarious on its own.

Rick Sanchez doesn’t know how long a meter is

Rick Sanchez isn’t the worst ideologue on CNN, but day in and day out, he is the most annoying and uninformed.

Rick Sanchez isn’t the worst ideologue on CNN, but day in and day out, he is the most annoying and uninformed.

Here he interrupts a discussion of the potential size of a tidal wave in Hawaii by asking, “By the way, nine meters in English is?”

Either he doesn’t know how long a meter is or he thinks you don’t know.

Lesson to be learned: Don’t go using that fancy, new Euro-speak on Rick Sanchez.

Man with assault rifle at Obama rally was part of radio stunt

It was big news last week when a man showed up at an ObamaCare rally with a semi-automatic assault rifle slung over his shoulder and a pistol strapped on his hip. Now it turns out the whole thing was just a radio stunt. A stunt by gun rights advocates, to be sure, but a stunt nonetheless.

Where are the headlines announcing that it was just a radio stunt?
Where are the headlines announcing that it was just a radio stunt?

It was big news last week when a man showed up at an ObamaCare rally with a semi-automatic assault rifle slung over his shoulder and a pistol strapped on his hip.

Headlines screamed. News anchors were atwitter. And talk radio was abuzz.

Now it turns out the whole thing was just a radio stunt. A stunt by gun rights advocates, to be sure, but a stunt nonetheless.

Conservative talk radio host Ernest Hancock went on CNN and said he had been in the middle of interviewing Chris (no last name provided) when the news network’s cameras showed up. The two men have known each other for two years.

Rick Sanchez: The more we look into this, the more it appears that it was really planned.
Hancock: Oh, it’s more planned than you think.
Rick Sanchez: This was a publicity stunt.
Hancock: Oh, absolutely.

Unfortunately, the CNN interview has been removed from YouTube and replaced with a notice that says, “This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.”

See, this is one of the reasons we hate the media. The horrifying news of an armed racist at an Obama rally, a potential assassin targeting America’s first black president, spread across the media like wildfire.

But when the reality of the situation is revealed, the media finds it far less worthy of their valuable airtime and newsprint.

We’re embarrassed to have to find the truth at CNN and the Huffington Post.

Crazy Congresswoman Shiela Jackson-Lee: “Who you gonna believe? Me or your lying eyes?”

Wacko Democrat Congresswoman Shiela Jackson-Lee was grilled by CNN anchor Rick Sanchez grilled her about taking a phone call while a constituent was asking her a question at a recent town hall meeting.

A woman comes home from work early and finds her husband in bed with a beautiful blonde. She screams, she cries, she gets hysterical.

Her husband calmly gets up out of bed, puts on his clothes and walks downstairs to the kitchen, where he pours himself a glass of milk, sits down at the kitchen table and drinks it.

“I want a divorce,” the wife screams. “I can’t believe you had sex with another woman in my bed.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” the husband says. “I’ve never had sex with another woman.”

“I saw it with my own eyes,” the wife screams.

“Who you gonna believe,” the husband asks, me or your lying eyes?”

That was the defense wacko Democrat Congresswoman Shiela Jackson-Lee took when CNN anchor Rick Sanchez grilled her about taking a phone call while a constituent was asking her a question at a recent town hall meeting.

Rick Sanchez doesn’t like freedom. Tells Republican Senator Jim Demint, “You have to do better than that.”

Republican Senator Jim Demint ventured into unfriendly territory and appeared on CNN with Rick Sanchez the other day. He made the mistake of saying that the Republicans would rise again by emphasizing freedom.

Sanchez took exception to that concept.

“Freedom? Freedom? What the hell does that mean?” Sanchez blurted. “You have to do better than that.”

Interesting that a CNN anchor would needs to ask a Republican to explain freedom and then say it’s not good enough. This mindset may explain why Fox has left CNN so far behind in the ratings.

You want something better than freedom, Rick? How about freedom with sugar on top. Or freedom three easy monthly payments of $19.95. Or freedom with fries on the side. Or freedom wrapped in thousand dollar bills. Or maybe even freedom to sound stupid on national television.
