How bad is it going to be for Democrats in November? So bad that Harry Mitchell, an incumbent Democrat Congressman from Arizona, is running intentionally deceptive TV commercials that might just lead viewers to believe he’s a Republican.
The phrase “I’m a Republican” is repeated five times in the commercial, but it never quite gets around to actually explaining that Harry’s a Democrat.
For Harry’s sake, we hope this commercial fools more people than his comb-over does.

I have to say.... that is a genius spot IF Arizonans are stupid. It will work ONLY if the majority of the people who are going to vote are morons. He made a good try though because there is always a 50/50 chance that most of the people who are going out to vote are stupid. If Arizonans are not stupid generally speaking THEN this spot is risky, because basically he is hoping that they are and if they are not they will not forget it when they go to vote.
Harry Mitchell in Arizona's CD5 is trying desperately to run to the right, but it's over. David Schweikert, the Republican challenger, is 12 points ahead of him, due to Miitchell's voting record which has been lockstep with Pelosi and the Obama administration. He voted for Obamacare, some of the TARP bailouts, and cardcheck. He doesn't support SB1070, which is even more popular in Arizona than it is in the rest of the country. He's ignored the nonstop Tea Party protests
outside his office, he doesn’t represent his Republican-leaning district. there is virtually no way Mitchell can catch up to Schweikert, there are too few undecided voters. The national Dems just announced they won't be spending any money on his race, and the AFL-CIO and other labor unions have also decided not to spend any money on Arizona Congressional races. Whereas the NRCC is pouring money into the race to help Schweikert, along with the Club for Growth and independent expenditure committees like the 60 Plus Association. Thanks to 60+, Schweikert has more TV ads playing now than Mitchell. I predict Schweikert wins by close to double digits.
Dan Onorato has ads on Hotair and Townhall asking you to click for info-but it takes you nowhere. Even if you go to his site you can't find out that he is a Democrat. We won't be fooled.
Hell, here in NC, Bob ( Who are you? ) Etheridige is trying to sound like a Republican except he spends so much time in church, in the Army, courting his college sweetie-pie, and "FIGHTING" for our jobs that he just ain't had the time to switch parties.
If you knew anything about Harry Mitchell or the district he represents you would know he doesn’t have to tell people he’s a Democrat. He’s pretty well known here as is evidenced by the statue built in his honor – not to mention the streets, parks and buildings named after him.
In a district where Republicans and Independents outnumber Democrats (according to registration), one would have to have both Republican and Independent support or they could not win an election. Mitchell has ALWAYS had Republican supporters. That’s why he’s been able to win his past elections.
Schweikert, on the other hand, could never appeal to anyone outside the right wing of his party. He’ll never win over the moderates with his anti-choice, anti-education and anti-Social Security ideas. and there are quite a few moderates in this district…

His only problem ( aside from being a registered Democrat candidate ) is that his name on the ballots will appear on the Democrat line. No hiding place there, Harry.
I saw a commercial for a local dem pol running on rebulican talking points. Pro guns, god, country etc.
Again, commical until I found her website that said she's a democrat.
"Sincerity is key. Once you can fake that, you've got it made!"
So the dimbulbs are calling themselves republicans..but according to them Republicans are evil...humm
