Did Keith Olbermann attend a racist university? Expose surely to follow.

When raging about the Tea Parties, Keith Olbermann, MSNBC’s resident lunatic, demanded to know, “Where are the black faces?

While watching the NCAA basketball tournament, it occurred to us that the hypocritical host should, perhaps, ask the same question about his alma mater’s athletic program. Despite the fact that college basketball is dominated by black players, only four of the 20 players listed on Cornell’s NCAA men’s championship tournament roster are black. (Another black player was treated like a second class citizen by being relegated to the school’s practice squad and not even being issued a uniform number.)

Cornell men Coach Steve Donahue is white. Assistant Coach Nat Graham, white. Assistant Coach Woody Kampmann, white. Assistant Coach Kevin App, white.

What about Cornell’s women’s team? It’s even whiter. Only one black player on the 13-member team.

White, white, white. Lily white.

Shockingly, the Cornell teams are even whiter than the basketball squad at Brigham Young University, a school Olbermann would undoubtedly deem racist because of its connection to the Mormon church. The Utah school has four black players on its smaller 13-man squad.

Why, Cornell’s teams are almost as white as MSNBC’s lineup of hosts. Where is the diversity? Where is the affirmative action? Where are the black faces, Keith?

Maybe your alma mater should change its team name from Big Red to Big White.

  • Do you realize that you've posted a photo of the women's basketball team from Cornell College (in Mount Vernon, Iowa) rather than Cornell University (in Ithaca, New York)? Note the purple (not red) color of their uniforms . . . And please note that 2 of 18 African American players is a much higher proportion of African Americans than in the Iowa population as a whole.

    • Well, excuse me, Mr. Smarty Pants. Apparently you're not aware that I am a certified idiot.

Seriously, that's my bad. I'll try to find the correct photo and replace it. Thanks.

        • Thanks for letting us know about the error. Funny thing is, Olbermann's Cornell women's team is even whiter than the men's team and far whiter than your Iowa Cornell team.

  • But if Keith Olbermann hated blacks, he wouldn't be a gosh-darn liberal anymore...
    I'm con-fused.

  • Keith Olberman is not that smart as he attended Cornell College of Agriculture -- not Cornell the Ivy League school. But he won't tell you that.

  • Cornell appears to be perfect. 4 of 20 is 20% of the the team is black. That is statestically equated to the population of blacks in America. They probably used a diveristy czar to insure that they had exactly 4 players. It looks good on paper...

  • The only Ivy I pay attention to, grows on the outfield bricks at Wrigley Field. The so called "ivy league" with its grandiose monolithic self-worship is of no import to the world. They waste money on "African American Studies"-which is nothing more that a way to employ puppets to study how to further enslave the poor inner-city, and propagate racism. They also have "muslim american studies" which are a veiled way to think-tank shariah into our Judeo Christian value system.
    Ivy League=Anti-American league.

    • If the Ivy League=Anti-American League, what does that make the Arab League? But what I really want know is does the Ivy League use the DH?

    • Cornell is like a Country Club in Westchester, mostly white people.
they believe Whites can only be smart if they Graduated Ivy League. Its a club.
The Left leaning Ivy League Alumni and Community Organizers, are the only intelligent, literate, non racist white people in this fine country.

  • its the opposite at my school. tons of blacks and hispanics and only a few white people in the school. theres only one white cheerleader. and the hispanics barely participate in any event we have so its almost always just blacks there.
