Fred Thompson is becoming the 21st century’s answer to Will Rogers with his homespun Twitter commentary on politics and the world. We love the guy.

Obama to help pay off Biden campaign debts. Would that be considered a bailout or a stimulus?
Russia’s Putin gets puppy, holds online contest to name it. Cheating suspected, but so far gotten 10M votes for “Bristol Palin”
Colin Powell:Obama did “good job” on economy. Well, Powell’s Army, where good job often means destroying everything in your path
That Rangel trial… it’s just AMAZING how fast they can get something done when it suits ’em, ain’t it?
Obama interacts w/ robots in Japan. Described experience as “like hanging out with Joe Biden, except with an ‘off’ switch”.
New Obama kids book features short biographies of 13 Americans. Must’ve been hard to not write about himself 13 times in a row.
Bill Maher: “America’s like a dog”. Yup, Dems know. if you kick it long enough, it’ll turn around and bite you.
Post Office loses $8B. The big question: if PO goes bankrupt, who’s gonna deliver the bankruptcy notices to their creditors?
Obama on deficit: “we have to tell the truth”. Not his strong suit. Might need to appoint a Truth Czar. I’m guessing Blago.
Obama at G20 predicts members will reach “a broad-based consensus”. He was right. They all agree Obama’s economic policies stink

The right computerized gadget finally came along for President Spock.
That man needs to do standup or have his own comedy show. Fox needs a comedy show. Put him on when Mahr or one of those other guys are on.
I would still like to know how Obummer has time to write a book - even if it is a children's book - and run the (mostly) free world at the same time. He needs to get his butt to work on the economy - IOW reversing everything he's done so far and try cutting some taxes and getting rid of some of that ridiculous regulation. The idiot.
"Obama interacts w/ robots in Japan. Described experience as “like hanging out with Joe Biden, except with an ‘off’ switch”."
I've seen some of those Japanese robots. I'd much rather hang out with them than Joe Biden.
Yeah, me too. I'm betting that the robot has more intelligence than Biden and Obama together.
And the robots have so much more personality than say, Algore. Algore in a room full of robots would be described as the boring one.
I lost all respect for Fred Thompson when he went on the attack against Mike Huckabee during a Republican presidential debate just because he saw him as a rival for the evangelical vote.
When all of those old people that he encouraged to buy reverse mortgages die and suddenly their kids can't sell their houses to make up the $1 million they owe on their $400,000 homes, blame Fred Thompson entirely. You're going to need a good lawyer. No, not Fred Thompson!
Do you even know how a reverse mortgage works?? The old folks must have the home paid for and the company pays them a monthly mortgage payment, banking on the actuaries to be in their favor. If the senior citizens live longer than expected, they are still in their home and the mortgage company has to wait for them to pass on. For some, it can be a life saver, if their only asset is their home. BTW, Fred already has his own radio show and is just as witty as ever. Huck is a progressive and probably needed to be attacked at that point. I'm no Romney fan, but I recall him going after Mitt.
Every reverse mortgage I've seen, it was the finance company that took it in the shorts. Old people don't necessarily do a great job of keeping things maintained, especially if they know that they don't really own it anymore, and it is awful hard to get around anyway.
I'm sure they make allowances for that, but it sure is depressing to look at some of these places.
Agreed. All these pukes are cut from the same cloth.
My one hope was that as a commie, Obama may go after the FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate) industries and get that one right accidentally. That didn't happen so its clear who really runs our country. All the republicans are on the take from them too, except the Pauls. And thats obvious from the way CNBC will mute him or cut to commercial when he talks.
Fred is funny, but he's still part of the old blood that needs to be drained.
He is so good! He does remind me of Will Rogers, or John Muir.
