The largest newspaper in New Jersey came up with a striking image for Monday’s front page.

What a contrast. What a brilliant side-by-side comparison of the strong and the weak. The bold and the timid. The conservative and the liberal. The reformer and the problem. The doer and the talker. The fat and the emaciated (sorry, that last one just slipped out).

    The other thinks 1+1=POTATO.

    That is why one can go with his convictions and be strong about it and the other lies to us and acts like a fool.

  • Actually, Governor Chris Christie is my favorite LIBERAL (classical meaning here) politician. I don't consider him at all conservative, but he sure fights for the people that voted him into office. If he were running against a Marxist I'd vote for him in a heartbeat and wouldn't have to hold my nose as I did so, unlike previous Repubican (misspelling intentional) candidates. I like men who'll take the fight to the enemy!

    • This is a great headline but I still don't get the conservative wet dream for Christie. He's tough on the unions which is fantastic, but on the other hand ignores the Islamic threat this country faces and he actually believes in global warming????? Certainly NOT a conservative.

      • And that is why I can vote for a person like Christie. I don't want our government involved in social issues at all. Their personal beliefs are just that, personal. It needs to stay out of government.

        These people were put into office to take care of the fiscal issues that our country is facing and nothing more than that. Stop pouring money into hellholes like Somalia and Haiti. Now that is not saying that they don't need help. But giving their government money is like pouring it down the drain. We need jobs in this country, so put some of those people to work to rebuild Haiti. If their government says no to that, then you tell them to go somewhere else for help. We can help ourselves and help others at the same time.

      • I agree with your view on CC, but where he scores points with me is that he will speak the fiscal truth and we need that. Even BHO is whacking terrorists at every opportunity so I'm confident if Christie were in office, he'd get that he is going to have to kill terrorists too.

  • Yeah, the Star Pinko Ledger was Obama to fight for "liberal causes" like Christie fights for conservative ones. In the first place, Obama's never had to work or fight for anything in his life, he's used to just showing up and having people fawn over him like he was one of the monarchs he keeps bowing to. Second, Obama really doesn't give a crap about any cause except the glorification of Obama. His motto is "What have I done for ME lately?" Third, the Star Pinko Ledger, like so many other stupid MSM rags, just doesn't get it... The country's effing broke just like these stupid newspapers, there AIN'T no more damn money for stupid liberal causes. It's like being on the Titantic and fighting over how much BIGGER to make the hole in the damn effing hull. Stupid effing moron journolists just don't effing get it, damn stupid jerks. Maybe they'll understand when they're standing out on street corners with signs like "Will report the news for food." Stupid assholes.
