You read about those record cold temperatures hitting Europe and the northern United States and you say, “Well, sure, but winter’s just a few days away so it’s not that strange.”
Hmmm. Then how do you explain snow in Australia a few days away from summer?

THONGS and board shorts gave way to beanies and scarves yesterday as summer gave way to a wintry blast of snow and icy temperatures in the country’s southeast.
While the bitter freeze in Europe continues, Victoria and NSW have had a cold snap of their own, with off-season ski slopes transformed into winter wonderlands.
About 30cm of snow fell at Perisher in NSW yesterday, while Victoria’s Mount Hotham received a 10cm dusting on Sunday.
Charlotte’s Pass in the NSW Snowy Mountains also received a 10cm sprinkling of snow, prompting would-be bushwalkers to don clothing more suitable for skiing.
It was surprising to see the Kosciuszko Chalet Hotel blanketed with snow at this time of year, resort manager Michelle Lovius told The Australian yesterday.
“I’m sitting inside in my scarf and beanie,” she said.
“When you walk in it, it’s up past your ankles and it’s just started snowing heavily again.”
Will the environmentalists admit that they were wrong? That’ll be a cold day in hell. And in Australia.

The world is just angry at the her inhabitants for daring to live and use her resources without her explicit permission for our own use and pleasure, so the weather is just a show of the world's wrath, because as we all know the world is actually a goddess with feelings and she be mean when people get all up in her grille...

Climate will do what climate will do. Although it is possible (and in some cases proven) that Man's activities on the Planet does shape the environment (especially the most immediate one), I am not so arrogant to believe that climate "change" and "warming" and what not is entirely a result of all human kind's activities. I think that if a universal Deity is going to create such a complex Planet, He would create ways for the Earth to deal with whatever man does and auto-correct itself. If the body can heal (albeit leave scars) from activities from the person AND outside forces that the person has no control over, I don't see why the Earth cannot have those same capabilities. My point is that people need to calm down. The Earth will do what the Earth will do. It is what it is. There is not much that we can do to prevent anything from happening and although we should be responsible in how we do things, in the end we are not all powerful and again whatever happens happens...

Holdren: Ice age Will Kill 1 Billion
Obama's science chief blames man-made carbon emissions White House science czar John Holdren has predicted 1 billion people will die in "carbon-dioxide induced famines" in a coming new ice age by 2020. As previously reported, Holdren predicted in a 1971 textbook co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul Ehrlich that global over-population was heading the Earth to a new ice age unless the government mandated urgent measures to control population, including the possibility of involuntary birth control measures such as forced sterilization.
Holdren's prediction that 1 billion people would die from a global cooling "eco-disaster" was announced in Ehrlich's 1986 book "The Machinery of Nature."
Holdren based his prediction on a theory that human emissions of carbon dioxide would produce a climate catastrophe in which global warming would cause global cooling with a consequent reduction in agricultural production resulting in widespread disaster.

Yup, it's certainly been a bit chilly down under. It's been enough to freeze the icicles on a Joey's Joey. But don't worry, it's colder because the climate's "warming", just as when it's warmer it's because the climate's "warming". And when it's neither one nor the other, it's because the climate's "warming".
Well, I've just been shovelling just over a foot of this "warming" climate from my icy terrace, but I rejoice that it's going to end up, allegedly, the "hottest year ever". Hurrah!

Yes, there are many job openings available in California. It takes a lot of people to process the college applications for the illegals aliens that get the in-state rate. And of course, they'll all need financial assistance of some sort. Much paperwork to be done.
That's why the global warming acolytes call it global climate change so that any unusual weather can be blamed on human progress.
