Immediately after the Times Square bombing, left wing pundits quickly tried and convicted some unknown, unnamed group of right wing domestic terrorists.
But when it was discovered that the crime was committed by yet another Muslim terrorist, the story immediately flipped to “The poor terrorists will become victims of rightwing racism.”
So which group do you fall into? Right wing domestic terrorist? Right wing racist? Or both?

It went from "quick we have no facts but let's diffuse suppositions that this could have been the long awaited hateful outpouring of violence that we were praying to see from the right so we would look like we were right about the tea partiers et al all along"...

And the "fun" part about the media's hairpin-turn change in course was that it was reflexive, automatic, like a sneeze in a high pollen count.

Exactly right, Pat. But that's how we're taught to get ahead in this country. Be a victim, so you can shame the guilt-ridden into giving you some of their ill-gotten booty...or better still, some of everyone's filthy lucre, since any success anyone has experienced has been on the backs of the downtrodden over the centuries. Those who admit that are the enlightened "progressives" who want to pay back that debt; those who don't admit it are the heartless, racist "conservatives" who want to subjugate everyone for their own gain.

And what the eff is going on at the FBI? Talk about a day late and a dollar short. This is the one time all of those interminable airport delays were for a good reason. And this schmo would have been in custody hours earlier if security was just allowed to profile a little bit -- not even necessarily by race, but by the fact the guy bought a one-way ticket with cash and had no luggage. Meanwhile, grandma is getting strip-searched, and 4-year-olds are being told to take off their flip-flops or they can't board the plane. UFB.
