We know what you’re thinking. Is it really possible to determine which of the many stupid things said on The View is the stupidest? But we think you’ll agree that this one deserves the superlative description.
Fox Nation reveals Behar’s buffoonery:
“The View” ladies discussed the effectiveness of coercive interrogation today and Joy Behar claimed, “there are other ways of getting information out of people . . . pay them off!” Ms. Behar said offering a terrorist a “$6 million book deal” may work just as well as waterboarding them. Sherri Shepherd interrupted and passionately defended CIA agents who do what’s necessary to protect average citizens . . . which actually ignited a hearty ovation from left-leaning “View” crowd.
We should convince terrorists to talk by giving them a book deal? Like we said, the stupidest thing ever said on The View, surpassing the former record holder, Whoopi Goldberg’s comment that Roman Polanski’s crime wasn’t rape rape.
Congratulations to Ms Behar. This is the TV equivalent of breaking Babe Ruth’s homerun record.

You guys do realize that Joy Behar is and was a stand-up comic before she worked on the view ? She's obviously joking. I'm actually not a fan of hers at all, and I don't think she's the smartest person on the planet, that's for sure, but it makes this website look dumb when you take an obvious joke from a comedian as serious.
To suggest that her spewage of hate towards all thing non-liberal and her consistent anti-conservative statements throughout her days on 'the view' and her own show on the tube is somehow meant to be funny, like part of her stand up comedy routine, is quite laughable. She is a left wing socialist-elitist and if you don't gather that from her and her friendly guests then nevermind. She is a tool of the government and industry, too. She feels her superiority welling up, even over you, Matt. Believing her political rhetoric is some extension of her act as a comedienne indicates you've missed the larger point of probably everything, ever.
Watching her and the likes of bernhardt make references to perversions as somehow the property of the right, doing what she can to keep vulgarity beautiful, would enrage herself if the shoe was on the other foot.
Joy is right- this actually works! the books i refer to are "Audacity of Hope" and "Dreams of my Father"- I think Earth in the Balance, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Bowling for Columbine also were products of the program
