Joe Scarborough speaks the unspeakable on MSNBC and admits that senior Democrat senators, committee chairmen even, have personally told him that they think Obama is incompetent.
Mika, of course, is horrified by this revelation and attempts to shift the subject to a completely unrelated subject.
Joe will have none of it.

One thing had nothing to do with the other and Joe should have said it or asked her that. What does Republicans being in the WH or not have to do with Democratic leaders stating that Obaa is incompetent and ineffective? What is it the Republicans' fault that Obama sucks?
I think the context of the argument is more entertaining: "Lets get the republicans in the room because at least some of them could govern their way out of a paper bag"
Dems are like children. They screamed and cried for 8 years about how they need a turn and now they've tried to have their fun they want the adults to come back and fix everything.

I don't understand. THe guest says that many senior powerful senators think Obama is a fright (don't we all). She responds by saying "It's not like the Republicans have never been to the White House." Annddddd. . . . .? How does this connect with the guests staement in any way? I would hate being a talking head, but I think even I could do better than that. And she repeats it several times, just in case we missed it.

In her Nov. 10 column, Maureen "Democrats can do no wrong" Dowd actually dissed Obama in particular and Democrats in general. I had to read it twice to be sure. And she didn't end the column with "April Fool !"

I think they were starting to lay the groundwork for getting Obama out of office in two years. However, their fall back candidate, Hillary, just announced that she isn't going to run. So, in the absence of Hillary, I'm surprised they are continuing their assault without a viable alternative... but perhaps they have decided they've got to get rid of him now or face Republican domination for at least a decade.
I think it's planned. They knew they went too far, and they are trying to get some credibility back. All's it means to me is that they're only 99.9999999% in love with their Affirmative Action Hero.
Years ago, there was a joke about if Democrats handled sex like they handled political office -- rather than 'doing it', they'd just sit on the edge of the bed and tell their lover how great it was going to be. Now we know exactly what they had in mind for their country, and it wasn't pretty.
