MSNBC’s Martin Bashir asks former Congressman if he’d rather have Obama killed than Osama

There seems to be quite the little competition going on at MSNBC – a competition to see which host can make the most outrageous comment. In fact, it seems to be an intentional corporate strategy.

Martin Bashir officially entered the fray during his interview with former Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo. Don’t let Bashir’s English accent fool you, because he’s quite capable of out-Schultzing Ed Schultz.

Bashir actually asks Tancredo is he’d prefer having Obama killed than Osama.

Try to imagine the squeals of indignation if Bill O’Reilly had asked a Democrat if he’d rather see George Bush assassinated instead of Saddam Hussein.

Could you speak up, please? We can’t hear you over the squeals of indignation.

  • It's absolutely an offensive one just like how the Colorado Congressman Doug Lamborn recently talked on the radio discussing the debt ceiling discussion, the economic climate and President Barack Obama. Lamborn used a phrase to describe the president which may found racially questionable. Here is the proof: Congressman calls Obama derogatory name.

  • Since when do we have to tolerate a bloody limey's take on our political processes, and I am referring to that self-aggrandizing reporter Martin Bashir. He is obviously a token shill for the liberal media, spewing non-factual information about Sarah Palin's bus tour. He ought to be deported!

That's highly unlikely but we sure can hope it happens to old Bashir...

    • It's just too bad some Native Texan didn't take a hit for the American team while that idiot was here.

  • I will skip addressing that vile pig bashir. But in addressing the question, though there are many reasons to be appalled at the thought (he is a husband and father,I disagree with him on everything, but do feel he's doing what he THINKS is right, his policies are destroying the country, but he surely doesn't want to kill anyone),but I have to admit the first thing that popped into my mind at the thought was........OMG, NO...........joe biden

  • If we assume that the only way to stop Bin Laden is that if he died, I guess his "logical" conclusion would make more sense. The reality is that Bin Laden could have captured alive at some point, he could have been replaced within the terrorist group, so many things. So to assume that Tancredo meant that by Obama being a threat he has to die like Bin Laden is stupid.

  • I don't know why anyone to the right of Fidel Castro bothers to appear on the pathetic MSNBC to begin with. It's not like they actually have much of an audience, and the audience they do have likely spends their time spitting at the screen instead of listening when a conservative appears. It's like what Bob Dole said: "You don’t want to get into a wrestling match with a pig, you both get dirty, and the pig likes it.”

    • As much as I agree with your comments, I have to say that even more than that, I LOVE your name! Very clever! Not only is it fun to say, but the sentiment is perfect for those times you can't actually say (out loud) what you are thinking about our illustrious prez, but might be able to get away with this, instead. Thank you!

      • I love it too, I told my husband about it... he laughed so hard I thought he'd have an attack of some sort... it was too funny.

        • Yes i agree, my husband nearly peed himself last night when he read your name! Great name!
