White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs committed the cardinal sin of telling the truth when he admitted that the Democrats might lose control of the House come November.
That didn’t sit well with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who sent out a new fundraising email in which she said:
“Here is what will happen in November. Democrats will keep control of the House. Period.”
In response, the Republican National Committee sent out this clip from Animal House that perfectly describes what’s going on behind closed doors with the Democrats.
When did these guys get a sense of humor?

She seems a bit too sure of herself. Someone has to got to watch her and the Democrats. I smell voting fraud.

Hey, we all know Nancy lives in the land of unreality. Look at her face! She is so out of touch even with her own voters that she has deluded herself into believing her own press. Always dangerous. However, with Chicago-style politics holding sway, I recommend everyone get out and work the campaigns, just to be careful. "Better safe than sorry" never sounded so important.

Even the massive amount of voter fraud won't fly-the RNC will make sure there are enough polling-place monitors, they won't be able to claim a close race anywhere, as they did in MN to stuff boxes with felon's votes. So, there won't be a pretty outcome-and nancy will be done-finished-kaput and will just be another blowhard on capitol hill, with zero power, and forced to fly coach like all the rest of the representatives of the people do and should-even her. And hopefully, just hopefully, her day will come when she is thrown out with the rest of the trash.
I read quotes to that effect before the last presidential election too.

Doing something evil and/or underhanded to get ahead is not right no matter who does it. No, what we're saying is that usually democrats claim republicans have committed voter fraud, and so they go ahead and do it themselves "to keep it fair". Later on, we find out there was no republican voter fraud.
I have a lot of friends (both democrat and republican) who watch the polls, and they've seen very little voter fraud. Until the democrat machine turns up.
There is no excuse for voter fraud, but apparently some people in washington believe there is. Don't be casting the aspersion of voter fraud on others before clearing the decks of the democrat party. Memories of burning ballot boxes, Chicago, 1960 are still pretty vivid among us. I guess that would only be a problem for you when it's democrat ballots, eh?

And since you clearly never actually followed the case, not only did the Supreme Court make this ruling (and had it gone Gore's way I have no doubt you would be back iunder yor rock) but later when all the votes were counted and recounted, and all the military votes (that Gore tried to nullify) were added up, Bush WON the election anyway. just as he did 4 years later. You just have to accept that you LOST! Twice.
