The armchair psychologists at NBC have determined why Pvt. Bradley Manning turned on his country and released more than 250,000 secret documents. It’s your fault, damn it.
According to NBC, Manning is a victim. A poor, innocent victim who only did the things he did because he was teased about being gay when he was a child. And that, friends, is why “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” needs to be repealed. Or something like that.
For god’s sake, man, is there nothing the liberal media won’t forgive or explain away?
The Editor was teased unmercifully as a child because he was so skinny. And the Administrator was teased unmercifully for being so damn good looking. And neither of us has ever given away any state secrets.
Of course, that may be explained by the fact that no one has ever trusted either of us with state secrets. Or any other kind of secrets.
But that’s another story.

The best example that can be made here is for this traitor to be publicly executed by firing squad, so all of the other gays (and others of weak character)in the military can see what happens if you get in a snit and betray your country. This clearly displays why character matters.

If he did this BECAUSE he is gay, would that make what he did a hate crime on top of being treason?
If ANYTHING this story tells me that gay (young) men (and possible -young- lesbians) are weak minded, weak spirited, with no self esteem, unable to deal with bullying (like most people can), unable to turn things around on the bully (like many people can), unable to change, mean-spirited, vindictive, petty, small minded, close minded, unable to adapt, with the inability to hide things that they know people may disagree with or hide true nature (could never be a good reliable spy) and unable to be trusted with sensitive/important information that could have the ability to destroy important diplomatic and national security links because of things that happened to him when he was a child and unable to deal with the issues stemming from his choice of career.
So exactly why am I supposed to feel bad for him again?
And... how exactly is repelling don't ask don't tell supposedly going to make it EASIER for gay men and lesbians to be respected and free from "teasing"...?

I believe I read that Hitler was scorned when he was a lowly enlisted man in the German Army in WWI. So that explains, and of course excuses, his later behavior. I always thought he was a murdering tyrant, and here all the time he was just a nice misunderstood man.
