The armchair psychologists at NBC have determined why Pvt. Bradley Manning turned on his country and released more than 250,000 secret documents. It’s your fault, damn it.
According to NBC, Manning is a victim. A poor, innocent victim who only did the things he did because he was teased about being gay when he was a child. And that, friends, is why “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” needs to be repealed. Or something like that.
For god’s sake, man, is there nothing the liberal media won’t forgive or explain away?
The Editor was teased unmercifully as a child because he was so skinny. And the Administrator was teased unmercifully for being so damn good looking. And neither of us has ever given away any state secrets.
Of course, that may be explained by the fact that no one has ever trusted either of us with state secrets. Or any other kind of secrets.
But that’s another story.
