Instead, he described Obama’s “read my lips, no new taxes” pledge as a “stance” and a “preference” that is subject to study by the president’s newly-formed bipartisan Commission on Fiscal Responsibility.
Ahhhh, yes. The Bipartisan Commission on Fiscal Responsbility. Or as it’s known around the Oval Office, the Bipartisan Creative Taxation Commission.

I loved Obama in his box office hit, 'Liar! Liar!'
I knew it was a lie then and I think a lot of the media knew but where willing to forego that to get him elected anyway.
All you Conservatives must have mis-heard him. He said " no new SAXES for people earning under $250,000".
Due to the hugh popularity of the instrument created by the inspirational playing of Billy C the sax-fiend, Boy Blunder is going to sign an Executive Order mandating a price of $250,000 for any new saxophones, $1000 to go to the retailer and the remaining $249,000 to go the the DNC for "redistribution".
