You can’t help but notice that issues that fall within the Justice Department’s purview, like controlling borders and preserving voting rights, don’t interest Attorney General Eric Holder. He isn’t a golfer so just how does he spend his time?
Congressman Darrell Issa’s committee was also curious:
“Fast and Furious” is the moniker for the Obama administration program that purposely released hundreds of sophisticated rifles, handguns and other weapsons to members of the Mexican drug cartels in an effort to link their users to crimes.
“ATF agents have shared chilling accounts of being ordered to stand down as criminals in Arizona walked away with guns headed for Mexican drug cartels,” Issa said. “With the clinical precision of a lab experiment, the Justice Department kept records of weapons they let walk and the crime scenes where they next appeared. To agents’ shock, preventing loss of life was not the primary concern.”
The DOJ sells guns to drug gangs while simultaneously suing states trying to intercept them at the border. Sounds like a movie plot about a cop on the take.
The report gets curiouser and curiouser:

The media told us Sarah Palin’s metaphors were responsible. We smell a journalistic rat, or rather a nest of them, creating a smokescreen to cover Holder’s (and Obama’s) butt. Where there’s smoke, there’s often fire, in this case gunfire.

That somoke you smell is also from the Arizona Forest fires. Now reported as having been started not by lightening, as first reported, but by a campfire. They are looking for the folks who may have been responsible. They'll never find them unless they kept a record of the illegals sneaking over the border.

How long before the BATF kicks in your door, arrests you and tries to pin some culpability on you?

I love how the media was all over the Giffords shooting, blaming it on folks who weren't even in the state at the time. But a major scandal like this which causes the death of agents and innocent people.... blank stare and a "duh?" Forget being locked in Joe Hairplug's closet, they're all stuck up Obama's butt.
But that same media did'nt give a damn about the sheriff who did'nt lock up the shooter in a mental hospital despite raising more then a few red flags about his behaviour. Oh, BTW, the shooter's mother worked for the county, so the sheriff side with her about not locking her son up. If there is a civil suit that comes out of this case, I wonder if any ofthose I mentioned are listed if there is a suit?

He even pretends to be outraged and angry. But then he goes back to his Washington office and cowers behind a desk. He's a joke. This guy is the Neville Chamberlain of congressional investigators.
