I so hope that the 'young guns' don't get corrupted by the cesspool that is our capital. We saw what happened to the class of 1994. god help us. Paul Ryan is awesome and hopefully some day he will rise to the very top!
Representative Ryan could give the LibStream a difficult target to stick on. He can easily bitch slap every elected member executive branch in any level of debate. I always liked this guy.
And now, Ryan will make the GOP response to the State of the Union address on Tuesday. I may have my daughter stay up late to see what a future POTUS looks and sounds like.
Paul Ryan is all over the TV lately. Or, it at least seems that way. Nice to know he's the Chairman of the House Budget Committee -- which has its own Youtube channel, btw. (with plenty of Paul Ryan clips.) Who knew?

His last point about employers dropping health coverage and/or employees is really the whole purpose of Obamacare - to kill the market so that the govt. can take over and be a single payer. It's a stab at Uni Health-care and the left's arguments are rooted strictly in emotion and have no basis in fact. 'Oh, what about the children?' they'll say. 'You hate poor, boo hoo hoo.' In direct contradiction to the stated purpose of the formation of a centralized, federal government for the states. It's a fundamental misunderstanding of the reason the colonies/states determined to join together. They all intended, at the time, to remain sovereign states as it was understood at the time. The federal government was created to represent the sovereign states in international matters and provide protection so they, the states, could engage in commerce unfettered. Commerce and trade, aka 'business', is what this country was founded on and largely what the constitution was written to protect.
Can't claim him as mine as he is from district just south. He does make us all proud though!

Paul Ryans representing us all across the country. What a breath of very fresh air he is.
Ryan is one of the smarter members of Congress, & he understands economics. But I want to see results, I want to see if he can be ruthless enough to do what needs to be done.
Well, not only is that monstrosity called Obamacare a fraud, Obama is a fraud, and probably the biggest one of all.
Hopefully, this modern day Jimmy Carter will be a one termer as well.
The problem in Wisconsin is the Milwuakee area & the Madison area. Milwaukee has developed into a crime infested urban welfare recipient paradise.
The Madison area has a different recipient class, most people who live & work there are state employees. They work around the Wisconsin Capital or are involved with the bureaucracy of policy makers & paper pushers. The other group in Madison is those who work at The University of Wisconsin, which is one of the biggest schools in the country, with over 40,000 students. When you go to Madison, what you will notice is that outside of the usual large chain buisinesses, almost all of the other small buisinesses are bars/taverns/pubs. It is a beautiful city, but it has a welfare culture, since almost everyone exists off of taxpayer money from the rest of the state. That is something that needs to change, or else the current conservative revival in The Dairy State will be just part of a cycle. The culture of the recipient needs to be broken, & the sooner, the better.

I once lived in Madison and currently reside in the suburbs of Milwaukee,everything you say is true. Milwaukee County and Dane County (home of Madison) were the two countries that resisted the Republican tide in Wisconsin last November.
Milwaukee county is controlled by liberals while Dane county is controlled by Marxists. Both counties depend on state and federal entitlements and hand outs. This is especially true of Madison which is both the state capital and the home of the oversized University of Wisconsin. Accordingly, there are tens of thousands of state employees living there, paid for and subsidized by the taxpayers. Milwaukee is full of poor people living on welfare but Madison is full of wealthy people living on their generous state wages and benefits.I don't see hope in changing these depressing facts without a major political struggle.
The job of the Wisconsin Republicans is to cut the number of people on the state payroll and to find jobs for the people on welfare---a tough proposition since there are powerful statist interests opposed to any change.
