Pot, meet kettle. Chris Matthews calls Obama an elitist.

Chris Matthews really is schizophrenic these days. One day he still feels that special tingle up his leg at the merest mention of Obama’s name and the next day he lurches into brief moments of clarity.

Monday was a clarity day. He told Andrea Mitchell that America voted for the patriotic and inclusive Obama and now he’s become an elitist.

And Mitchell just sits there looking as if this liberal blasphemy is going to give her a major stroke.

  • "Maybe it isn't, but he oughta sell it that way." Does anyone else see a problem with that statement?

And of course not all of us went to graduate school. Maybe we would be better off if fewer of us did.

  • I guess he took his meds today?

That lady looked like she just saw someone doing number two. Priceless.

    • My Gawd that woman is so freakin' stupid!

She tried to stop him in his tracks...But even Tingle Matthews was having none of it.

  • "We were all taught in grad school that you have to run a big deficit during a grand recession - - how about explaining that. Everybody didn't go to grad school."

Well, did he EVER think that not everyone believes everything they learn for a test in grad school? Apparently, F.A. Hayek, Milton Friedman, and others didn't.

"(The health care law) will give us something we can base our lives on - guaranteed health care. He never sold it as an economic tool - a catalyst to greater growth down the road. Maybe it isn't, but he ought to sell it that way, at least."

Sorry, Chris, but he's explained and explained some more. We're tired of looking at his lying mug on television. We don't believe it's any kind of "economic tool" because we're not that stupid.

"All the people care about is a nine to ten percent unemployment rate that's not going down. Middle-aged people are losing their jobs - they're not finding them - and this guy's out there doing his pet projects, and they wonder why he isn't THEIR President, why he's only HIS OWN President."

A profound statement from a liberal mouth. I'm shocked. But - hey - even a blind dog finds a bone once in a while.

    • Certainly not in this lifetime. Some of us actually looked at his past before deciding not to vote for him.
