We’re really starting to like this Rand Paul guy. In this clip he tells an official from the energy department to stay out of his bathroom, out of his bedroom, out of his kitchen, out of his whole friggin’ life.
It was all prompted by the department’s idiotic light bulb energy efficiency regulations.
If Paul is willing to do this after just two months on the job, think how much fun he’s going to have in the next six years.

Obama has managed to stack the SCOTUS in his favor, that is to say, they are liberals that want to legislate from the bench, rather than just obey the law as it is written. This is because RINO's in the Senate didn't have the huevos to stand up to these inane appointments. They also don't have the huevos to stand up and say what needs to be said when ignorant laws are put forth to begin with. The Honorable Mr. Paul notwithstanding.

It was also deemed constitutional by other federal judges. If this goes country wide we will have to see if more go anti Obama Care than pro.

Look, Hisham, and everyone else, I have always been pretty open to the other ideas and concepts....but now that the "lie" is exposed, enough is enough.
The whacked out, "non-intellectual left" has been emboldened by the mindless marxism loving trash occupying our white house....that we elected, few knowing anything about him or his past, though is actions speak volumes about who and what he is; so they think they can get away with everything. The media, also controlled by the left (eerily similar Germany in 1932), never tells the truth, never questions the vast and obvious incompetence; the blatent disregard for the majority of our people; the just amazingly incredible ignorance going on in Wisconsin, and so it continues to go....this time though, ALL the cockroaches are out in the light of day and we can see who they are, but they, this time, just don't stop, emboldened by the fact that this POS does nothing to stop it or speak out against any of it.....but then, as many of us know, that's been their plan all along....and I'm getting really pissed off...

Well maybe not all of us are friends with one another as we hope to be, but overall most of us here are on the same boat and are feeling the same frustrations. It is good to have a place like this, in which we can discuss our point of views and vent a little. It is actually rare in the real world to have a conservative place to vent.

Idiots....I really hate liberals...everything they touch, every program they implement, everything they do is converse to both reality and good sense. Not one, NOT ONE program implemented by government, and in particular liberal government and their policies works...none meet any semblance of the original budget, and every single one becomes an abject failure....every single one. History tells us this....and history doesn't lie....unless it is liberal revisionist history....which is a lie, as is liberalism itself.
After selling one of my companies in 2005, my wife and I moved to the Caribbean for two years. We had those idiotic non-functional light bulbs. You like to read? Plan on doing it during the day, when there's light...you simply cannot read by those lights. Perhaps it is one more of these vast liberal dumb-down-America plans. If you can't read about their policies, you can't think (something liberals can't do anyway) about the complete and utter incompetence of all their plans.
Not too mention the fact that as Paul said, the shipping of jobs overseas (GE) since there is no way in hell the EPA in their infinite wisdom would ever allow these bulbs to be made here in the USA. They are, factually, chock full of Mercury....something these idiots have been protecting us from for years....I feel so safe now!

I totally agree with you. I hate the curly fry bulbs too. Need three CFLs to do the job of one incandecent and the light still sucks. Hurts my eyes and gives me a fricking headache to boot! We have a Philips incandecent bulb plant here in my town and I think it's going to be closed down real soon...these marxist f***ers are tearing this country apart and for what? Do they think they're going to get a pass on this? Remember their names and study their faces so you know who you're 'doing' when the time comes! I really hate liberals too!

Not to mention that the very bulbs they are pushing/forcing on us in the name of "saving the planet" are actually MORE devastating to the environment. In fact, so much so that the trash collector will not take those "earth friendly" bulbs to the landfill and it takes a hazmat team to decontaminate your house when you break a bulb.

Note that Ms Hogan really did not get the gist of what Paul was saying at all. It completely went over her head. He might as well have been speaking Mandarin. The concept of liberty simply does not exist in that vacuum she calls a brain.
It's like in one of the Star Trek movies, when Dr McCoy asked Spock what it was like to be dead, and Spock would not tell him, saying "you have no frame of reference".
That's how these fascists need to be handled - they have to be stopped. Whether they come to understand the concept of liberty or not is irrelevant, because they probably won't.
Yes time for the Energy Department to go as it has not done a single thing to reduce this country's dependency on oil. All it has done is create a bunch of jumbled up regulations and rules and waste BILLIONS of dollars.
