Technically Wright did not say ALL whites lie, but throughout the video we are treated to "the white people", "white folk", so I took it and ran with it as he did NOT say, "SOME white people". The same reason I can tell from the smell whether or not my patient's wound has a C Diff infection: there are certain telltale characteristics. So unless your patient has been wiping his wound in his poop, I'm not sure how you would be able to detect the very distinct ... er ...fragrance of that bacteria by doing a wound check.

No, Perlcat, C diff has a distinctive odor, and it also tends to break down skin around the perineal area. A nursing home patient who hasn't been well cared for will often smell of C diff before you actually get a good look (and whiff) of the stool.
But that's okay. If you want that badly to believe I'm faking the whole thing about being a nurse, be my guest.

First, what Trent Lott said was a lot more (no pun intended) controversial tham simply complimenting Strom Thurmond. The specific statement he made was:
"When Strom Thurmond ran for president," (on the segregationist Dixiecrat ticket in 1948) "we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn't have had all these problems over the years, either."
If you can't see why some Americans would have been outraged by such a remark, then you're either a simpleton or a segregationist yourself.
Second, if you're honest and believe in American ideals, you'll judge Obama on his own words and actions, not on what you're eager to imagine he's secretly thinking. But, of course, that would mean admitting that he isn't the evil racist villain you want to think he is, so you'd never do that.

Olivia, Why did so many Representatives of the House (Democrats) attempt to change the Constitution of the United States regarding the mandate that the President be a NBC? All of the attempts just before the campaign season prior to Obama's election? It does not make sense. Who were they trying to set the stage for? McCain? The term NBC was derived from the "Law of Nations," an international law. History is an interesting subject. It is what it is. Did you look at the Congressional Record; public documents? Every Bill proposed before Congress is open to the public. Someone did the research and found all of these attempts to CHANGE the Constitution in 22 months before the election. Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 “No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
The term natural born citizen was first codified in writing in colonial reference books in 1758 in the legal reference book "Law of Nations."
That legal reference book was used by John Jay, who later went on to become the first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Jay had the clause inserted into the Constitution via a letter he wrote to George Washington, the leader of the Constitutional Convention. Jay was considered the outstanding legal scholar of his time and he was the one is responsible for inserting that term into the U. S. Constitution, which was derived from the Law of Nations.
John Jay wrote: "Permit me to hint, whether it would be wise and reasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen." 3) Sure, he seems to be implying that ALL white people said these things, and that's wrong and inaccurate. But isn't that the very same ploy that many of you far righters use, when you try to generalize about all Muslims, based on what some have done or said?
4) Why are you obsessing over what Rev. Wright has to say? He's not in the government; as far as I know he isn't seeking political office, and there's NO evidence that he has any influence over Obama's views, actions or decisions.
