Chris Wallace interviewed Democrat Steny Hoyer and asked him about Steven Colbert’s testimony before the House last week. It was an exercise in futility for Wallace.
Wallace: Was this an embarrassment for the House?
Hoyer: I think his testimony was not appropriate. No, I think it was an embarrassment for Mr. Colbert, more than the House…
Wallace: He was called by the Democratic chair of the subcommittee.
Hoyer: You asked me if, Chris, if the testimony was appropriate. I think it was not appropriate.
Wallace: And he should not have been called.
Hoyer: Well, I don’t know if whether he was called, but I think what he had to say was not the way it should have been said. If he had a position on the issues, he should have given those issues and I think, you asked my personal opinion…
Wallace: And you regret it?
Hoyer: I think it was inappropriate.
We’re not sure if Hoyer is unable to criticize Democrats for this stupid stunt or if he is simply so inarticulate that he is unable to clearly express that criticism.
Nah, who are we kidding? It’s both. And Hoyer should be embarrassed about his performance on Fox News.

Interesting.....but I must say, it is not embarrassing for simply the simpletons in the White House, but is an embarrassment to the United States of America as a whole. The whole world watches this crap! And, it IS a referendum on liberalism in general. Say it with me now, "liberals are stupid....and, stupid is as stupid does..." and a liberal moron invited this moron to a hearing, presided over by liberal morons, in a liberal congress of morons, presided over by liberal morons in the white house. Yes it was innappropriate, but he played them. They expected to have a famous person come in and make a liberal stance on the issue instead they got stupidity that make THEM look stupid as well. They have noone to blame but themselves. He had no reason to be there, it was a waste of time and money and they should pay the taxpayers back for that.
And the Democrat Party wonders why fewer and fewer voters like them.

Ok, so they brought a comedian in there and expected him to give a serious testimony like he is some sort of expert? What will we do next, go to hollywood movie stars for input into US foreign policy?
What's the big deal? Democrats have been sending clowns to congress for years and nobody makes an issue of that
