Rasmussen reveals what Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln, who was supposedly the swing vote, has found:

Support for incumbent Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln has now fallen to its lowest level yet as Republican John Boozman remains on track to shift Arkansas’ Senate seat to the GOP column.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Arkansas shows Boozman capturing 65% of the vote, while Lincoln earns 27% support. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate in the race, and three percent (3%) are not sure.

Boozman has been ahead in this race for months. In July, he posted a 60% to 35% lead. In surveys since he won the Republican Primary in May, Boozman has earned 60% to 66% of the vote in matchups with Lincoln, who in turn has picked up 28% to 35% support.

In summary, bye-bye, Blanche.

Liberal voters will fall for just about anything. It appears, however, that even they are on to the fact that President Obama’s ringing endorsement of Democrat Senator Blanche Lincoln barely rings at all.

Progressive Liberal voters will fall for just about anything. It appears, however, that even they are on to the fact that President Obama’s ringing endorsement of Democrat Senator Blanche Lincoln barely rings at all.

Unnamed sources (they really do have names, but do you really care?) say that Obama is only doing this radio commercail as “payback” for Lincoln’s vote on the ObamaCare bill travesty. To which we respond, “You think?”

Combine Obama’s tepid approval ratings with the remarkably bored-sounding performance he delivered in this radio commercial and you have to wonder why they bothered. Especially considering the fact that Lincoln may be a country mile behind in the polls, but she’s still more popular than the president in Arkansas polls.

At the end of the commercial, it says “Paid for by Friends of Blanche Lincoln.”

We say friends don’t let friends drive voters away from the voting booth.

In fact, it looks like she could lose to pretty much anyone who doesn’t have a “D” after their name. Look for members of the Whig and Bullmoose parties to throw their hats into the wide open ring.

Rasmussen reports the depressing Democrat details:

Four of Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln’s Republican opponents now earn more than 50% of the vote as her path to reelection grows even steeper.

The numbers are closer when Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter is the Democrat in the race, but only because there are more undecided voters.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Arkansas, where opposition to the national health care plan is even higher than it is nationally, finds both Democrats stuck in the mid-30s. This suggests that the race continues to be more anti-Democrat in tone than pro-Republican.

Congressman John Boozman, State Senate Republican leader Kim Hendren, State Senator Gilbert Baker and former State Senator Jim Holt all earn 51% of the vote against Lincoln. She in turn picks up 36% support against three of the GOP hopefuls and 35% when matched against Holt.

A fifth Republican, businessman Curtis Coleman, leads Lincoln 48% to 36%.
In every case, the Republicans have gained support, while Lincoln, who earned 38% to 41% in the match-ups last month, has lost ground. Now her numbers are back to the lows she experienced in February.

Bye bye, Blanche. Don’t let the door hit you in the rotunda on the way out.
