Nancy Pelosi said, “We have to pass the bill so we can find out what’s in it.” Now Democrats finding out that what’s in it is a whole lot of bad juju.

Rasmussen reveals what Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln, who was supposedly the swing vote, has found:

Support for incumbent Democratic Senator Blanche Lincoln has now fallen to its lowest level yet as Republican John Boozman remains on track to shift Arkansas’ Senate seat to the GOP column.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in Arkansas shows Boozman capturing 65% of the vote, while Lincoln earns 27% support. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate in the race, and three percent (3%) are not sure.

Boozman has been ahead in this race for months. In July, he posted a 60% to 35% lead. In surveys since he won the Republican Primary in May, Boozman has earned 60% to 66% of the vote in matchups with Lincoln, who in turn has picked up 28% to 35% support.

In summary, bye-bye, Blanche.

Blanche Lincoln, Arkansas’ Democrat Senator, is quickly learning the price of her vote in favor of ObamaCare. The latest poll show that she’s trailing five – count ‘em, five – different Republicans.

In fact, it looks like she could lose to pretty much anyone who doesn’t have a “D” after their name. Look for members of the Whig and Bullmoose parties to throw their hats into the wide open ring.

Rasmussen reports the depressing Democrat details:

Four of Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln’s Republican opponents now earn more than 50% of the vote as her path to reelection grows even steeper.

The numbers are closer when Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter is the Democrat in the race, but only because there are more undecided voters.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in Arkansas, where opposition to the national health care plan is even higher than it is nationally, finds both Democrats stuck in the mid-30s. This suggests that the race continues to be more anti-Democrat in tone than pro-Republican.

Congressman John Boozman, State Senate Republican leader Kim Hendren, State Senator Gilbert Baker and former State Senator Jim Holt all earn 51% of the vote against Lincoln. She in turn picks up 36% support against three of the GOP hopefuls and 35% when matched against Holt.

A fifth Republican, businessman Curtis Coleman, leads Lincoln 48% to 36%.
In every case, the Republicans have gained support, while Lincoln, who earned 38% to 41% in the match-ups last month, has lost ground. Now her numbers are back to the lows she experienced in February.

Bye bye, Blanche. Don’t let the door hit you in the rotunda on the way out.

The people of Arkansas apologize for giving us Bill Clinton

Maybe the Razorbacks haven’t exactly gone on an apology tour like Barack Obama did, but they’ve done the next best thing: they responded to a Public Policy poll in ways the leftist polling organization won’t like. Not at all.

Maybe the Razorbacks haven’t exactly gone on an apology tour like Barack Obama did, but they’ve done the next best thing: they responded to a Public Policy poll in ways the leftist polling organization won’t like. Not at all.

Consider these results:

56% of voters in the state disapprove of the job Obama is doing so far as President, with just 40% approving. Those numbers are down from a March Arkansas survey that found the spread at a favorable 47/45. 72% of Democrats, 30% of independents, and 9% of Republicans give him good marks.

On health care, just 29% of Arkansans say they support Obama’s plans with 60% opposed. On that front he has the support of only 54% of Democrats and 20% of independents.

When asked whether they think Obama or (Rush) Limbaugh has a better vision for the country, 55% of respondents selected Limbaugh in spite of the fact only 35% of them have a favorable opinion of him, compared to 44% unfavorable.

“These numbers, taken together, show why Blanche Lincoln’s Senate seat is becoming an enticing target for Republicans in spite of their candidate recruitment issues,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. “There are few states that have an electorate more conservative than Arkansas’ and if the GOP can effectively nationalize the race it’ll be close.”

Hey, these people were considered progressive geniuses when they gave us America’s First Black President. How’d they turn into such unlightened boobs now that we have another First Black President?
