CNN’s new White House correspondent mocks Obama, implies he’s a liar

Based on her first question to President Obama, we don’t think Jessica Yellin will keep that front row seat in the White House press briefing room much longer.

Based on her first question to President Obama, we don’t think Jessica Yellin, CNN’s new White House correspondent, will keep that front row seat in the White House press briefing room much longer.

She might have couched her question in polite terms, but there’s no doubt that she was mocking the president. Maybe even calling him a liar.

Go to the 4:15-ish mark.

Obama: Jessica Yellin. Congratulations, your first question here.
Yellin: Thank you, Mr. President.
Obama: No pressure. You’re going to do great. (Laughter.)
Yellin: Thank you. Your administration has laid out four different dates by which you’ve said that the debt ceiling must be raised or the U.S. would face potential dire consequences. Three of those dates have come and gone and we haven’t faced financial calamity. Some of your critics have argued that these are then scare tactics to force a deal. So why should the American people believe that the August 2nd deadline is the final deadline by which a deal must be raised? And would you also spell out for us what you believe will happen if the debt ceiling is not raised by that date?

Michael Moore taught the fact of life: White Americans aren’t racists

Michael Moore and CNN’s Jessica Yellin were guests on Friday’s “Real Time.” Of course, the fat fantasy filmmaker repeated his oft-heard claim that “white America does not like having a black president.”

Choosing to use the words “Michael Moore” and “facts of life” in the same sentence may have been an unfortunate mistake on our part. Seeing those words juxtaposed brings up horrible mental images that we were unprepared for when we typed them.

Nevertheless, Michael Moore and CNN’s Jessica Yellin were guests on Friday’s “Real Time.” Of course, the fat fantasy filmmaker repeated his oft-heard claim that “white America does not like having a black president.”

Believe it or not, Yellin schooled Moore on voter turnout during midterm elections and the fact that Obama’s approval ratings have nothing to do with race.

But…but…but…
