Illegal alien murderer/rapist Humberto Leal had lived in the United States since he was two years old. Hell, based on that fact alone he was almost as American as Barack Obama.
The Associated Press has the final word on the animal’s final moments:

Texas executed a Mexican citizen Thursday for the rape-slaying of a teenager after he and the White House pleaded in vain for a Supreme Court stay, saying he was denied help from his home country that could have helped him avoid the death penalty.
In his last minutes, Humberto Leal repeatedly said he was sorry and accepted responsibility.
“I have hurt a lot of people. … I take full blame for everything. I am sorry for what I did,” he said in the death chamber.
“One more thing,” he said as the drugs began taking effect. Then he shouted twice, “Viva Mexico!”
“Ready warden,” he said. “Let’s get this show on the road.”
He grunted, snored several times and appeared to go to sleep, then stopped all breathing movement. The 38-year-old mechanic was pronounced dead at 6:21 p.m., 10 minutes after the lethal drugs began flowing into his arms.
Our congratulations to the state of Texas for taking this step toward lowering global warming. As of 6:21 Thursday night he will no longer spew any noxious CO2 into the atmosphere.
Viva Texas!

So let me get this straight, it is "immoral" to send the illegals back to Mexico unless it is to avoid punishment for raping and murdering a girl?
Pick a double standard and stick with it all ready!
God I love you guys. Thank you for your comments!!
You know, right up until a few years ago, his last words in Nebraska would have been "BZZZZZZRT".
LOL...
Does that mean Nebraska no longer has the death penalty?
No, they just didn't like "Ol' Sparky".
It was apparently "cruel and unusual" -- but only if you consider what most of the people that sat in it did what was not "cruel and unusual" to their victims.
I actually have personal experience with the "cruel and unusual" punishment of electrocution. About 30 years ago, I was electrocuted on a construction project. 12,000 volts in my hands and out my feet. The witnesses say it was for about 15 seconds. I never felt a thing. Yeah, my body was doing some really ugly stuff during those 15 seconds, but I had no knowledge of any of it, I was already dead. Nothing hurt at all until the paramedics fired me back up.
So, while electrocution might be ugly to watch, the one being executed isn't going through anything cruel and unusual at all.
They get to eat whatever they like, after years of having three square meals, a free gym memberships and whatever else they want. The victims did not have that luxury to do or say or have anything they wanted before they were victimized. Their victim status came at a surprise and those that died didnt get a chance to do something or to see their families before they died. Victims were denied of rights that were rightfully theirs, these people get to keep these rights that they disdainfully crapped on.
We treat our prisoners better than we treat our veterans, which is wrong on so many levels.
Especially if the prisoners are here illegaly.
Silly logic isnt it?
I wonder if Obama would be okay to have this guy near his daughters... (Bush should be asked that same question if indeed he tried to intervene for this evil man) let him (they) tell us that (t)he(y) would be 100% okie dokie with that and THEN we can talk about how this evil man's rights are being violated.
Bush recommended that this guy get another hearing, based on the fact that he was never offered contact with the Mexiocan Consulate. After 17 years and multiple death row motions to suspend his execution, I feel all the bases were covered many times over by the time of the execution. No matter who he talked to,he was still guilty of raping and murdering a 16 year old child. Her parents deserve a break!
Absolutely. No one can say that this guy should have been given a pass. He should have been executed a long time ago and Obama should have stayed out of it.
Maybe Obama should have invited him over for a beer.
Right! Another beer summit... yeah the first one was so useful :-/
Has Mexico attacked us in retaliation? Have the illegal Mexicans left the US in disgust? No? Obama wrong again?????
Well, they've unleashed the hordes of drug gangs, armed by Eric Holder. But that was nothing personal, just business as usual in the Obama Administration.
Very well expressed. I would add the "academics" like this woman Babcock out of Northwestern Law School defend child rapists from death because European law is so civilized. I have to wonder about Professors like this- at what kind of sick mind defends the type of scum no better than the gum you sometimes find stuck to the bottom of your shoe.
A whore will do most anything for money.
Viva La , DEAD Raza
ha ha! good one!
Not a big fan of the death penalty for several reasons. But with that said, I am glad that Gov. Perry did not cave into the wishes of Obama. There has already been too much federal usurpation of states' rights as it is, now. Once the feds start telling a state what they can or cannot do in a certain area, the feds become more powerful. If we allow them to do this enough, we will no longer need state governments.
If anything, the feds should be giving back to the states the rights that were once theirs to begin with.
Hell, even the Supreme Court stayed out of this one. And the parallels drawn between this guy and Americans overseas are not real. He lived and worked in America as an illegal for decades, "passing" as a citizen. Very different from an American tourist, or one living temporarily in another country.
So basically, he was a career criminal long before viciously murdering an innocent young girl. I'll not shed a single tear for him, only for her.
"Not a big fan of the death penalty for several reasons"
Just look at it as a very, very late-term abortion.
Yep, now un-living proof that in some cases abortion should not only be legal, it should be mandatory.
If this sorry excuse for a human thought so much about Mexico his worthless body should be tossed back across the border to show what will happen to you if you mess with Texas!
There are several hundreds of death row inmates awaiting execution and we've been paying their way for at least a decade, if we averaged it all out. Why don't we do some spending cutting right there and save some money at the same time?
Viva Mexico? What did they do for him, and if he had said God Bless America I might have been freaked out by that. But what self respecting Illegal would ever say that after killing an American... None. Save the bullets for the next Mexican American War... It's obvious Illegals have no respect for this country or it's citizens...
VIVA Mexico. Yeah right. He was raised in AMERICA! He doesn't know jack about Mexico! And that trial was here in San Antonio. The guy never asked for a consular visit, and was found to be illegal in the course of the investigation. In the meantime, he budgeoned a 16 year old with a piece of concrete, and raped her. Do I really care what country he is from? Mexico does not want the death penalty. Beyond that, there is NOTHING that Mexico or any other country could have done for this POS. He was guilty, guilty, guilty! Of course, after 17 years, his uncle in Mexico claimed he was innocent, and that he knoew who the true perpetrator was. How he knew that from Mexico, for a crime in the US I have never figured out. . .
Yea Mexico does not want the death penalty because they are such a civilized country, but they have the city with the highest murder rate in the world, Juarez, much higher even than Afganistan or Iraq, and like someone else mentioned if Mexico is thier idea of paradise what the fk are they doing here?
That's what I don't understand about the "Viva Mexico" crowd. If Mexico's so great, remind me what you're doing here again?
Or, to put it another way, I was born in Texas and have lived here almost all my life, and love most things about it, except for the weather. My husband was born and raised in Colorado. We'd both love to move there someday, but I would never move there and then go around bragging about being from Texas all the time. If I did, I could fairly expect to be invited to go the hell back there!
