Thaddeus McCotter, our favorite congressman this side of Paul Ryan, doesn’t look like a guy who’d be a big rock ‘n roller. But he plays lead guitar in the Second Amendments, a rock band composed of five current Congressmen and is, apparently, a big fan of Led Zeppelin.
Is this the first time the Zep’s been quoted on the floor of the House?

The'' right' is so hypocritical. The song is the "big government" Blues, ad nauseam. From the pyramids to the Manhatten project, big government and civilization can be identified, they are identical. "Conservatism" is just the latest warm fuzzy P.C. code word for barbarism. Pure and simple. The Immigrant Song . The Immi-grunt of disgruntled Barbarism. Islamic fundamentalism American style, BARbarism writ petty beyond belief!
Yes, Planned Parenthood is bankrupting America. The Bush tax cuts that this and other Republicans won't let go of are keeping us afloat and making the country stronger.
Yes, we need more unwanted babies for poor and lower class people and much more money for the richest. That will solve our problems. Bravo, Thaddeus. John Bonham would kick your ass for that.
And surely I tought he was gonna say the dems were "buy...ying the stair...way to hea...ven"
Here is another possible Republican candidate for pres.
Entertaining...I bet he and his bandmates have shoved a fish up a secretary's tw@t too. They're definately shoving something up the rest of the country.
Awesome
Excellent. Even an allusion to The Who near the end as we won't get fooled again. Definitely a case of "meet the new boss; same as the old boss". It is a joke to see Obama now spew about how we need to reduce spending, reduce the deficit, save the children, when his plan to do so is to just keep spending. Same old same old.
McCotter is absolutely right: The Dems just want to keep spending, and increase government. How in the world do they get elected or maintain approval ratings? Oh yeah, I forgot: there are a ton of people who just want someone else to take care of them or pay the bills. Dirtbags.
If you are over 50, and out of work, tough. If you lost your job and are living in a car with kids, tough. If you lost your home and savings, tough. If you have no Healthcare, no job, and your parents are dying, tough. Just mosey over there with the rest of the dirtbags and keep your grimy hands off of my pie. Every dog has his day and ours isn't here yet. It sucks to be you, but like Dennis Miller says...Buck Up! Now excuse me, I gotta go to church.
He's right. For the Democratic Party, "The Song Remains The Same".
Yet, they "Ramble On", sing "The Immigrant Song", and they have no concern at all for "When The Levee Breaks". When confronted with these things, their aloofness leads them to "Over The Hills And Far Away" and will certainly lead us all to "The Gallows Pole", if we do not stop them.
