FDR tried to stack the supreme court with a lot more judges (that he would get to appoint) in order to get his way.
It wouldn't surprise me if BHO tried something similar to get his way.
But yes, FDR did show leadership and cojones when Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan were acting a fool all over the world.
BHO would have just written a dozen sternly worded letters telling them how concerned and angry he was after watching them conquer all of Europe and Asia.
Franklin Delano was a Progressive and his rule made a lot of things worst, however his time as President during the war was impressive enough that even though not necessarily the greatest President (overall based on domestic performance), he is still a better President that what's his name.
After Ms. Palin's comments a couple of days ago it seems perfectly clear how he's able to cross his legs. Maybe Jessie Jackson was successful with his threat from a couple of years ago?
