White House didn’t want you to know that Democrats laugh when Obama claims he’s created two million jobs

After the President gives a speech the White House puts out a transcript complete with audience reactions noted.

For example, he spoke to the Democrat National Committee on Monday and said that his administration had created 2.1 million jobs. The transcript duly noted that the audience laughed.

Who can blame them. Surely they thought it was intended as a punch line.

But when conservative bloggers publicized the fact that Democrat contributors laughed at the claim, the White House rushed out a new, improved transcript.

The new one replaced (Laughter) with (Applause).

We have a feeling that someone in the White House isn’t laughing right now.

  • Can you imagine if the Bush White House had done something like this? The Left would be talking about the manipulation of the media and Orwell and "1984" and propaganda.

  • Pretty typical "Say something enough and people will believe it " attitude. OF course it isn't quite working that way any longer...

    • aka "the Big Lie."

Favorite technique of Hitler, Goebbels, Stalin, and other megamaniacal tyrants.

  • The transcript forgot to include laughter at the idea of the car companies making money from electric cars.

  • Here's what really worries me: I think that Obama believes his own lies. As a result, he can tell those lies very convincingly.

    • Somehow, I'm not convinced. Well, as long as Coddy's job is one of those saved, I'm good with it.

  • Democrat contributors laughed? It takes a special kind of person to support a politician they find ridiculous. I think the name for such a person is "nitwit."

  • They can laugh -- Obummer has till now taken care of his supporters. The rest of us cry.

  • Nero publicly played a fiddle while Rome burned, Democrats laugh while they publicly destroy the US...must be a coincidence.

    • I saw it on Fox News. So there is really no way to go around it. He was standing behind a podium when he said if I am not mistaken. I am not 100% because I usually tune him out.
