Obama goes all hardass at UN, doesn’t invite Ahmadinejad to his tea party

Well, now this will teach those pesky Iranians that we mean business. This must be what the Obama administration means by “tough sanctions.”

According to the Jerusalem Post:

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be unlikely to receive an invitation to a reception US President Barack Obama will host in New York later this month, the White House said Thursday.

The reception for world leaders will take place during the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said he doubts that Ahmadinejad will be invited because “Iran is failing to live up to its international obligations.”

Ahmadinejad, ever the party animal, said, “Who needs Obama’s tea party? I’ll be at the Yankee game that night, throwing kisses at sexy Bronx Bomber shortstop Derek Jeter. Hubba,hubba.”
