Obama Lie of the Day: Any bill gets 5 days online before signing

Our president has a bit of a problem with telling the truth. No, let’s be more clear. He’s a pathological liar. Today we see that he’s about to break the promise he so sternly made back on the campaign trail when he said, “The public will have five days to look at every bill that lands on my desk” before he signs it into law. It looks like Obamacare won’t even make it two days.

To recap, in that campaign speech candidate Obama manages to tell seven, count ’em, seven lies in only two minutes.

  1. Make government ppen and transparent
  2. Make it “impossible” for congressmen to slip in pork barrel projects
  3. Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public
  4. No more secrecy
  5. Public will have 5 days to look at a bill before signing
  6. You’ll know what’s in the bill
  7. We will put every pork barrel project online

Where’s Congressman Joe Wilson, the most honest man in Washington, when we need him?

  • But Obama said that the debate was over so I suppose putting it online so people could read it and continue with the debate was no longer necessary...

    *sighs*

  • Carlito, You are absolutely right, there was a HUGE rush to sign the bill into effect considering the vast majority of the 'benefits' don't come into effect until 2014. F*****g important indeed.

  • You know what the problem with you conservatives is? You need to be more like Joe Biden. He recognizes that this stuff is too f*****g important to have it posted for 5 days in advance of signing.

  • He's right up there with Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. They're all liberals. They're all liars. But I repeat myself.

  • Bad, Bad, Bad, Barack, Nancy and Harry, go to the blackboard and write "Bankruptcy" one trillion times!

  • As if Obama has ever lived up to a single campaign promise-other than the one he made to reverend wright and louis farrikahn behind closed doors to destroy America!
